Hello everyone,
Sorry if I’m not in the right section.
Just a quick post to see if it was possible to create a new tag for scripts, whether paid or free.
I think it would be useful to add the tag “Script Frame By Frame”.
What do you think?

What is “Script Frame By Frame” and why do you think it should be tagged?
How does that differ from “script by motion tracking” that half of scripters use? Scripting Timelapse - Me Speedrunning A RIM Animation
What On Script Interpolation / Curved Strokes does it have?
I’m not a scriptman, so please elaborate
(well, I’m a scriptman, I’m just a game scriptman, not a video scriptman)
It just means that every single frame is checked and if the person didn’t sleep it is perfectly synced unlike lots of people using Motion Tracking and not fixing the sync and other stuff.
Frame by frame means that someone really went through the video and every single frame which imo makes a very big difference. Motion Tracking is fine for CGI and fixed positions “mostly”, but most of the time people are too lazy to fix it afterwards which most of the time even takes longer than frame by frame scripting.
It’s mostly a thing for RL stuff and a quality seal.
I don’t see the point in having a tag for it though. Not enough space for tags available already.
I think this demand really just came from scripts that uses mouse recording / motion tracking / on-the-fly scripting but isn’t polished before posting.
If we really have to address this it’d be better done by a feedback / rating system.
Setting up a feedback and evaluation system is an interesting idea.
I think it’s a pity that some scripts are too badly written. It’s not too bad on a free script, but when you’re selling it, it’s important that it’s as accurate as possible.
