OSR2+ g90ak Edition - Extremely Limited Availability - $160 + Shipping - Dropping Monthly Starting in 2024

@Telani Hi there! You’re absolutely right. Honestly it’s been so long since I got that model that I forgot it was one that you designed. I am very sorry.

Had it filed under my misc models and figured I got it from Thingiverse or something. I can provide attribution, a royalty fee for each of the 2 units I sell per month, or completely remove it from my units. Just let me know what works best for you - my apologies again.

No worries, feel free to continue using it without any fee, I just think attribution is important in DIY spaces

Thank you so much, much appreciated. I will be sure and call that out.

the addons i don’t plan on getting immediately, or if at all. I just like the option if it came up down the line. TBH the one mod I’m heading towards is actually getting the an adapter to use non fleshlight options.

That’s a “mod” that I wholeheartedly support, especially if its a lighter sleeve. This will put less weight on the servos, making them have to work less, and allowing them to move faster and more accurately. I’ve always thought that Fleshlights were very large and heavy (or maybe I’m just not pornstar gifted :frowning: ) I’m definitely open to printing adapters and including them to purchasers. I just don’t have experience with any beyond the Pilot and Handy sleeve adapter so models will have to be provided.

defiantly know myself. I do have a handy and i know that a lot of people have problems putting a full fleshlilght in one of those. My collection has some various sizes. I do wish there was one for smaller holes where this one mentions that the adapter targets 7-8 inches which cuts off ones that are 6" (e.g Tenga Spinner (to make a pseudo twist motion)). So I guess my option would be getting the Handy sleeve adapter as it would be the closest

i also have a 3d printer so i am willing to try and design some adapters if wanted.

i assume if i wanted to upgrade the servos myself i would have to do some soldering?

“To avoid frustration and to facilitate easy replacement or upgrades, the g90ak Edition has separate clearly labeled wiring harnesses for each servo. It is truly plug and play when it comes to installing new servos (cable management is still needed, it’s small in there). Users will not have to touch the power bus levers or the tiny Dupont connectors on ESP32 (unless they want to).”

Using female servo connectors like that is a good idea imo. Wagos grip pretty well, but it’s still possible to have them disconnect in shipping or when doing wiring. Possibly a blend of our two ideas would work well?

There might be space on that wago bus model (lengthening it and possibly removing back wago row) to add plastic for holding the female servo connectors in place, plus cable management zip tie points.

I really like that idea and have toyed with the thought. I really think the ultimate solution is a PCB module that sits on top of the ESP32 and allows for direct servo plugin. I need to learn basic PCB design though…

Should I message you to queue for the drop.
This is exactly what I’m looking for.

Queues will be recorded via post responses in a drop thread that will be posted on Jan 1st. First post, first serve. I’ll go down the list and contact the first 2 responders for payment and delivery info. If they drop out or don’t respond within 24 hours I will move down the list accordingly. Will be posted around midnight Pacific Time.

Are your STL’s available anywhere? (or maybe for purchase?) Do you have a similar upgraded version for the SR6?

Sorry, not of this moment. Took a lot of work, so I’m keeping them exclusive to the g90ak Edition for now. Its not that the mods are fancy - its more so that I started from 0 experience in 3d modeling - so the effort curve was very steep. Will definitely release them in the future though.

Not a fan of the SR6 (detailed here), so no plans on digging deep and doing something similar.

Fair, Do you have an idea of a timeline for when you will want to release them? Also, what program do you use to edit the STL’s? I was trying to edit some and they always get imported as meshes in fusion 360 and it makes it a nightmare to try and edit.

Not sure on timeline - will be somewhat based on how well/quickly I’m able to sell my units.

As for program. I use a combination of Tinkercad and Fusion360.

Heya! Just have three questions for you:

1- Will you post the thread for buyers at a specific time or a random hour on the 1st?

2- Are you shipping from the US? Will you ship worldwide/to Canada?

(Sorry, just checked the other post)

3- With your modded version, would I still be able to add the twist module? It’s the only one I really care about, besides MAYBE the suction one, but that’s minor compared to it I feel. Same question for the different onahole holders as well

(nvm as well, think I may be blind to have missed that part of the post haha sorry)

Would love to be able to buy one, hopefully I manage to!

Thank you! Have an amazing New Year!

In general, can the OSR2 be used with other than Fleshlight? Like an onahole?

you’d at least need the respective adapter for different sized toys. The Handy adapter covers most options (due to it using a velcro strap so girth size can vary), but there are adapters for odd shaped ones like the quickshot which has its own adapter.
