Pornhub HLS vids

It’s entirely possible that it’s a “me” issue, but over the last 24 hours I’ve noticed that when I try to pull vid from Pornhub I’m just getting the HLS versions. Anyone else seeing the same thing?

I used jdownloader for the first time a few days ago. Im seeing hls. Just assumed thats normal

It looks like pornhub is only using HLS now.
using media-downloader its grabbing by HLS

Ahha! Found the issue! My pornhub account somehow got logged out of JD2- once I logged back in I’m able to pull non-hls like I used to.

Anybody else is still running in this issue?

I am only getting hls. I added a PH account to JDownloader and the normal files don’t show up.

Does it make a difference, if I get the hls instead? Or will there be any problems with playback or with the script?

There shouldnt be a difference. But it does mean you will need a tool to grab the videos like yt-dlp

Thank you. I will just get the hls video then and not bother waiting, that the non hls are showing up in JDownloader.

People might be using jdownloader anyway so if we all use the hls version. It ends up being the same across the board i guess.

Add “sss” after “pornhub” in the link address so it reads something like “Best Online Pornhub Downloader 2022- XXXSave.net…” That will take your video directly to xxxsave.net and you can download from there.
