Proposal for a New "AI-Generated Scripts" Category

With the rise of AI-assisted scripting tools, AI-generated scripts are becoming an increasingly viable option for creating funscripts. While these tools are not yet perfect, they can provide a solid starting point for script creation, particularly for VR POV content and even some lightly censored JAV VR titles.

However, the increasing use of AI also raises concerns about potential spam, low-effort posts, and the dilution of human-created content. To maintain quality and organization within the community, I propose the creation of a dedicated category for AI-generated scripts.

Reasons for a Dedicated Category

  1. Transparency – Users should be able to distinguish between AI-generated and human-created scripts to set expectations accordingly.
  2. Content Organization – Separating AI-generated scripts ensures that users who prefer human-made content are not overwhelmed by automated posts.
  3. Encouraging Innovation – A dedicated space would allow users to refine AI-assisted scripting techniques, share best practices, and improve overall script quality.
  4. Quality Control – Establishing clear guidelines for AI-generated scripts can help prevent excessive low-effort submissions and ensure valuable contributions.

Proposed Guidelines for the AI Scripts Category

  • Mandatory AI Labeling – All posts in this category must explicitly state that the script was AI-generated.
  • User Review & Refinement Encouragement – Users should be encouraged to provide feedback and make manual adjustments to improve AI-generated scripts.
  • Quality Expectations – To prevent spam, contributors should be required to ensure basic quality standards, such as proper alignment with video content.
  • Discussion & Development – The category should also allow for discussions about AI scripting tools, tips, and workflow improvements.

Conclusion By creating a dedicated “AI-Generated Scripts” category, we can harness the benefits of AI while preserving the integrity of human-created content. This approach ensures that AI remains a helpful tool rather than an intrusive presence, fostering a balanced and high-quality scripting community.

I look forward to feedback and discussion on this proposal.

EDIT: In order to avoid hypocrisy… I did utilize ChatGPT to refine and summarize my own proposal on this subject. It’s major changes were adding bullet points and creating a detailed conclusion.

Not sure about making it a whole category but personally I’d also like to have generated scripts clearly tagged as generated.

Understandable, my main goal here is to enhance protection for the people that put many hours into making scripts.

I’m not even sure they should be allowed as single-script threads

It’s been just a month and one person made 1000

They should have a thread in Software and maybe in Script Collections
And have own website like faptap to search throgh them
It’s time for script booru \o/

A script booru doesn’t sound all that terrible tbh. I’d wager most people here have used some form of booru, so tags would be easier to use (and probably more likely to be added to posts smh you’ve been putting in a ton of effort on that here and we appreciate it)

There are thousands of scripts on here that are not clearly stated to not be manually created.
A lot of us can readily tell when a script uses known tools for automated script generation, but a lot of people don’t know and don’t check.

I absolutely think a tag should denote generated scripts so they are not confused with manually created ones.

Yeah
Limit of 7 tags in the post absolutely kills any ability to explain more difficult posts

And there are many classes of manually generated ones

There are videos with moving camera carefully scripter to multi-axis frame by frame by @codeScripter

There are now my scripts for animations witg static pow I made without touching a point in OFS
Hands-free vs hand-made

I honestly think scripts made with tracing are somewhat better than handcrafted
But tracing works far from in all cases

Tagging is a great way to organize content, but when tags are too broad, they lose their usefulness and can even become counterproductive.

That’s why I believe having a dedicated subcategory for AI-generated content is a better solution—it keeps things more organized and easier to find.

This. It’s already been a thing for a long ass time with even paid scripters doing that. People that script themself or are hardcore users will notice that immediately most of the time. There are some things that make it obvious - not to mention that there hasn’t been a single AI script I touched that took into account to be frame perfect. I dont mind them as much, but at least some tags or another category would be good.

Motion tracking supervised and touched up by a human are not the same thing as scripts that are 100% AI-generated, IMHO. I think the focus here is the latter - scripts where the AI handles everything, with minimal human input.

Shaggy Susu’s stuff just happen to work very well with motion tracking, btw.

If people were throwing up AI generated scripts into this community, imo it needs a separate thread or something since you can easily pump out hundreds of ai slop scripts faster than normal people can script even with ai tools.

AI generated scripts should probably be more of an exception than the norm here. Cause there’s a difference between “let me share this thing i spent time and attention on” and “lets throw up this thing the machine spat out”.

Tbf that’s what at least one user is doing which I appreciate.
It’d be a problem were they posted as new topics.

The point of AI generated is that you can create your own favorite video script without high learning costs, even if it is not perfect

This is what I was aiming at when I started the project indeed.

The discord bot was made so people can experience and comment on the generated scripts when installing the tool feels technically overwhelming for some.

I have no clue what is the best approach fo AI generated stuff in the forum, but the bot was also here to collect and distribute scripts generated by users, for free. In the discord channel only, not inside eroscripts.

There were (at least) 2 scripts that were created and released for free in the forum, clearly mentioning that they used FunGen as a basis and what they had to rework or not.

The tool is also mentioned to be for personal and non commercial use.

You know some scripters do a worse job than AI. There needs to be quality control at least for endpoints not AI or manual. If a script is out of sync its garbage bin no matter if AI or not.

For now there is no AI scripted content that is good enough. I am sure you will get close to very good some day but right now without manual error correction of large parts of the scripst AI scripts can not be. Its just not a good script if you let AI run alone. I dont think SLR has untouched AI on their site. AI can however spare alot of time if it premakes the script as good as it can. If AI has a clear view and no interference it does a pretty good job and script parts can even be let untouched or slightly modified. So there is no need of a AI script category as there are no untouched AI scripts that are good, yet.

personally I don’t care how the scripts are made, as long as they meet a baseline quality. just sorting by AI doesn’t necessarily filter out low quality scripts.

personally, I really don’t like multi-script threads but it’s a lesser. problem with multi-script threads is that they are impossible to digest past a certain size. they are also terrible to look up when they are named different variations of “script multipack”.

I think based on purely the speed and amount that PURE AI scripts have the potential to occur that they need their own catagory. As then if/when factory churning out of them starts to occur non-AI scripts don’t flood Free Scripts or Paid Scripts … I also think that scripts made with AI assistance need tagging (say using AI to create the basic first run through of an script or at multiple sections) as more of an prevent complaining measure incase people start claiming the whole video was AI made without notice.

If not an category then yes an mandatory tag and if an account is an factory one then it must make and Script Collections post and update that to avoid the feed spam. (Maybe even an new account type that is Bot ?)

It would definitely be best to get something in place or started to be made to only gain dust for an year or two rather than being made or hastily done when the ship is already sinking from the sudden massive weight.
