Sup y’all
SlowScripter here with little review on the Funsr1 2.0 with a twist. As some of you may know, I’v been into Virtamate as of late. And I was looking for a toy to integrate with Vam. Now I know for Vam, a SR6 like device is the way to go. But after some debate, I decided to go with the FSR because of how quiet it is. I’m not doing a full on review, just the pros and cons. And some info on how I mounted it, and a few tips and tricks.
PROS
-
As I said, it’s quiet.
Except for the twist action which makes a plastic rubbing on plastic sound, it can get a bit loud. -
The power and tourq.
I had no idea how much of a difference this would make. The Handy over the years began to feel more and more robotic to me, the power of the FSR alleviates much of that. The added power makes the strokes feel more life like, closer to the strength of a human being. -
The range of the stroke length and speed.
Many of my scripts contain strokes that are too slow for the Handy to register, but the FSR handles them no problem. And I really love how this thing can get down to a snails pace.
CONS
-
The break down.
I know the FSR is not a commercially produced product, so I understand that this thing may fail at some point. And fail it did. I blame myself, I used a max load sleeve and it must have burnt out the motor. Luckily replacing the motor was pretty easy and it’s back in action now. -
The loud twist.
At low speeds the twist is pretty quiet. At high speeds it’s loud enough for me to hear in the next room. -
I’m going to have to adjust all my scripts and add the twist action.

🌀 [Review] FUN SR1 2.0: Stroker With a Twist!?
FUNSR1 2.0 - The new King of interactive devices?
The mount.
I wanted something I could use while sitting on the couch. I was able to achieve this with the use of a small metal step stool, and a table top vesa mount. The stool is just a simple metal step stool, a metal chair or bar stool would work too. The vesa mount is available on Amazon, a small table top mount that is super rigid. How rigid? You have to use both hands to move this thing kind of ridgid. You will need some nuts and bolts to attach it to the FSR vesa mount.
Now by itself, you could use this on the floor or on the bed. But the power of the FSR is going to throw off the balance and start making the mount move around. To keep it from moving around and possibly falling off the stool, I glued a couple neoprene magnets to the bottom of the mount base. From what I read on discord, the motors can get too hot and start to lose their magnetism making the motor weak and start to fail. I originally had five magnets and that was strong enough to pick up the mount and stool at once. But I decided to take it down to two magnets so I don’t possibly damage the motor. Even just two magnets is still strong enough to pick up the mount and the stool stays attached.
The whole thing feels very sturdy and dependable, I never feel like it’s going to slip or move in any way. If a metal surface is not an option, you could alternatively attach it with a clamp.
Sleeves and lube.
To each is own, some say onaholes are awesome but I’ve been using flashlights. I trimmed down the case and sleeve to cut down on the weight. I also ordered a couple squeeze dispenser bottles with an extended long neck. These work great! Just inster some of the bottle neck into the sleeve, give it a little squeeze and your good to go.
Bluetooth.
I’ve seen some users having Bluetooth issues, I definitely did. I think my PC Bluetooth is 5.0 I also have a tplink dongle that is 5.2, both had issues keeping things in sync. Got this UGreen 5.4 adapter and that did the trick, FSR connects with no issues.
The Funsr1 2.0 with Virtamate and vr.
Vam and the FSR have me feeling like A$SAP, “I’m on a new level” “I’m on a new level”
I was super stoked when slr started doing passthrough videos, unfortunately I feel that there production has fallen a bit flat. The video quality has definitely improved, but the videos themselves feel like the same thing over and over.
And PT has its limitations, the big one for me is the positioning. Not to mention how sometimes the top half of the actress looks great, while her legs look six feet long. With Vam all these issues can be sorted out, but yes it comes with a cost. I think for most it’s the trade off of a real person vs a CGI model. That was my hangup when first getting into Vam, but I must say. Some of these CGI models look really fucking good ![]()
I don’t want to ramble on and on, so here is a quick list of pros and cons.
PROS
-
Almost endless possibilities.
Scenarios, people, positions, it’s almost endless what you can do in vam. -
Variety.
From choosing famous celebrities, to AI created models. An endless amount of clothes and makeup. Any environment you want, strip club, bdsm dungeon, McDonald’s, right down to your own living room. Any position you want, even those that are unnatural. -
My favorite, Control.
It’s more than just being able to choose various models. You can choose there hair, nails, makeup, tattoos, jewelry, clothing, voice, body shape, and expressions.
Not to mention controlling the speed, depth, and twist with just your voice. -
VR
While some PT scenes get the angle and position just right, Vam just feels more like the girl is there with you, Aaaannd it’s your dick in the shot.
You have to try it too see what I mean. The girl is riding you on the couch. You look down and her legs are the correct length. Her feet look like there on the couch right next to you, and it’s your dick she is riding.
CONS
-
It takes some time and dedication to learn how to create and navigate Vam. I’m a year in and I can create my own scenes, but there’s still a lot I don’t know.
-
While there is plenty of free content, the better stuff comes with a price. But then again, so do videos and some scripts.
-
It’s not real life.
It can come really really close, but in the end it’s still CGI. In my experience a little herbal enlightenment helps get over that. -
You need the right gear to make this all work.
A decent pc, quest 3, funsr, this shit adds up quick. -
It can take a bit of adjusting and positioning to get your dick, model, and stroker all lined up.
My overall experience has been nothing but amazing. My Handy started collecting dust, I now find myself having a session almost daily, and IMOP it was definitely worth the money and effort. Vam 2 is in the works but I don’t expect to move on to that for a few years. Even after it’s released there will be a period of testing, debugging, and plugin development. I highly recommend giving the Vam world a shot. They have a great community and plenty of helpful guides. As for the Funsr1 2.0 it’s a great stroker and a big improvement over the Handy, I’m curious to see how the Melody from SLR compares.
The mega link contains some pics and videos I took with the Q3. One is a short video of what it’s like to use Vam with the FSR. I’m not loaded into the FSR, it’s just sitting on the floor and is synced with a simple riding scene I made in Vam.
The other video is something that I feel is missing from many PT scenes, giving her a facial. This is another simple scene I made. It basically a girl on her knees waiting for you to unload on her face, you don’t even need a stroker for this one. Again this stars her and your cock, but the video has a stunt banana.
A quick VR and FSR tip before I go.
As you know, light makes a big difference in the quality of PT. I found that attaching a light to the Q3 makes for a much better PT experience.
ROOM LIGHT
HEAD LAMP
Keep your FSR safe from drip by adding a bib. A small towel and a safty pin is all you need. Make sure the towel hangs loose so it doesnt get cought in the FSR.
Magnets
Vesa mount
Metal stool. This is a taller version of the one in photo.
Bottles
Bluetooth
Lights
Quest cover
