Now that there is a super easy and free way of exporting webm previews with timeline curve and live gauge with @k00gars Fungen, can we please enforce script releases with them? This would work perfectly as quality demonstration without ES moderator involvement.
If you set export clip to F1 key its literally load the funscript and video into fungen, press F1 and then export clip. It can then be pulled into the script release window. Thats it. Here is an example.

I think people should be allowed to showcase and preview their scripts however they like. Not everyone wants to use FunGen as their editor, for whatever reason, and some people would rather just drop a file and move on without putting in extra work, and thats completely valid. The more scripts that get shared, the better, especially for niche content. This feels like a non-issue to me. If someone’s actually trying to sell their scripts, a release with no preview just isn’t going to sell as well, and that alone is enough incentive without a rule forcing it. On top of that, this feature in FunGen burns a watermark into every clip that advertises the software, which feels like the wrong thing to be building a site standard around. Honestly, this whole post reads like an ad for FunGen.

You’ve mentioned this now several times in several places… including as a necro to a post that hadn’t had any discussion since october of 2025. Yes, that seems like a nice feature. I don’t like the watermark. It doesn’t do multi-axis previews. I don’t like the implication to viewers that my script is AI generated. Etc. etc. etc.
Just because you like the software doesn’t mean everyone else must use it. Previews are good, but they don’t matter on free scripts, and it’s self selecting on paid scripts.

This has been mentioned many times. This is a case of voting with your wallet.
If a post doesn’t have a satisfactory preview, don’t buy it. Comment under the post asking for a better preview.
It would be beneficial if you made a howto guide on the forum. I’m happy to include a link to it under the template to show users how to make better previews.

Who said you need to use Fungen as your Editor? You just open Fungen, load your script and export the clip. Then you close Fungen. You for sure do not edit anything.

Yes, so what? I am pushing this, quality check is obviously important to me and missing from the site. There has been no possibilty until now without manpower or complicated clip export. Thanks to @k00gar we now have a way. I am so much against shitty scripts that do not even account for being one. Quality check is the condition for having a token system also.
Why not enforce it, if it is now easy to do on mac, linux and windows? I dont want to ask and recheck the thread just to see if I am being ignored or not.
I feature requested clipping the whole fungen window for script teaching and how to guides. Will post the how to if @K00gar wants to makes it. Few clicks then.
Thats the price, he does not ask money for this great feature, just ignore it.
You can also just download OBS and record your screen or OFS directly with the video playing in the app.
- No need to change script editor (the fact that it is developed with a AI generation feature in mind, to me personally, is aggravating, so no thank you).
- It’s free.
- No watermarks.

Absolutely use OBS if you like or Captura also works, have fun setting them up. Use whatever you want. Fungen is the easiest way to get Webm Vp9 clip for now, that is what I am saying here.
He’s been roasted on here because of his pricing and because you and @Rriik have been coating the websites with unsolicited advertisements / picking fights with people about a piece of early-access software.
I literally wouldn’t even have responded to this post if I hadn’t seen you say the same thing multiple times in multiple places. If it’s a good product I’ll use it, but I don’t need someone to tell me it’s a good product ad nausea.

Said perfectly. If it’s the thing the site is recommending and, in a way, requiring, it shouldn’t be a $200 piece of software that will brand itself on every page on eroscript
I would like to formally apologize for my interactions on this forum that may have led people to believe i am some kind of paid actor promoting FunGen. I want to make it clear i have absolutely nothing to do with the development of it other than offering to betatest it. I also want to point out i find the pricing outrageous and i also notice the community feels very split about it as well. I don’t want to cause any more trouble related to this topic, so i will refrain from making further comments referring people to FunGen or counter people’s comments about it until it (hopefully) reaches a state where the community sees it in a better light. I said it many times before that i’m just a software engineer who really hates making these scripts by hand and wanted a better way to solve this. I had hoped fungen would be that answer. I do not want it to turn this community upside down however. It’s sad to see this happen and i resent the decisions made that have led up to this point.

Right, back to enforcing the quality check by preview which can be now done super easy by Fungen (and complicated with differing quality with other apps).
I’d rather have someone create a site or program specifically for recording previews especially if what you are pushing for burns a watermark on the preview. Like @ihavealittlejohn said previews mainly matter for paid scripts you could very easily ask @VladTheImplier to make previews a requirement when posting in that category.
Sure please someone write one. There was no easy way, I recorded previews myself a couple of times if you look into my portfolio and its a pain to make them. So I asked K00gar and he did it really well. Never thought that watermark would be a problem to be honest. If he takes it out its fine?
Anyway, I understand Vlad has already declined preview enforcement, even if its easy to do now. Problem is that it is the only way I see to easily globally qualitycheck scripts and for everyone to clearly see whats in the sack. Not only for paid scripts but also for free scripts before download. Quality checking is also necessary to establish a token system. From where I stand its now possible.
If other funscript generators dont have this then all it would do it cause stress switching to another generator. Plus if its free then whats the worst that can happen.. ruined orgasm hehe we have Enough to waste 
and tbh you wouldnt continue watching a script after the 2min if you thought it was a bad script you would simply just switch to another, thats why feedback is so important, which a topic should be made to encourage more feedback instead of just a like. Scripters need to know whats not good about it.
No stress, when you are done with your script you just close OFS, open Fungen, load the script, press F2 or whatever key you have put the clip export on, click export and done.
I made a heatmap generator that can provide a better preview of script details. If creators of paid scripts are willing to use this kind of heatmap to showcase the details of their scripts, I think many low-quality scripts would be much easier to identify.
Heatmap is not enough to detect shit.
