Restim - e-stim audio generation

I tried mostly cock hero style videos and scripts, scripts with complicated stroke patterns or multi-part strokes work less well with the simple conversion algorithm in restim.

There are quite a few funscripts specially made for restim now (https://milovana.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=27090). Most use quite basic stroke patterns, often auto-generated from the audio or beats, but they work well.

How do you get the video to be output with the original MPC sound and the funscript via restim on the laptop?
I actually want to play the video about Quest in VR and send the sound from the script to my DIY_box. Please help or link. my English isn’t so good.

For the audio channel to drive the e-stim, while you hear the audio that comes with the video, you need a second audio device on your computer.

I use a USB audio device that was cheap from Amazon for use with a stereo headset.

Another possibility is if you connect your monitor via HDMI, that may show up as a second audio device that you can set up for playback audio, and send your ReStim Audio out to your computer’s speaker jack or headphone jack.

MPC-HC is under options > output > playback
or under options > Audio Renderer > device

Restim lets you pick the audio device to output the e-stim signal in the Tools > Preferences > output device

Thank you very much, I have ordered a USB and will test it. Can I also control DeoVR or heresphere on the VR glasses and pull the files from the same folder on the NAS-raspberry?

I have not used DeoVR, Heresphere or other 3D systems or software. The one solution I did try was utterly worthless, full of vendor lock-in bloatware that required a few subscriptions to look at anything, and was as locked out of local computer resources as you could possibly get.

Previous versions of ReStim were able to connect to MultiFunPlayer, as an output device, allowing you to use DeoVR or heresphere, just as you would connect MFP to a few other video programs like MPC-HC and devices like a USB connected OSR or an buttplug.io/intiface connected device. Someone else would have to walk you through that setup, and from what I’m reading, it’s hit-or-miss, and I have no idea how much of the Playback and Restim you have control over within the VR display.

It’s only slightly less complicated than getting laid in the real world.

When I start restim on the PC and heresphere is in quest3 connected, the funscript doesn’t load automatically. I have to load individually. The file names are the same and are in the same folder on my NAS. What’s wrong?

You may need to enter the funscript directory manually with the ‘search paths’ button, which is located next to the ‘add funscript’ button. You only need to do this once.
