I am using The Handy 2 pro, and I think I had same problem when using Setaria’s Fun script, it doesn’t seems to work, in the log it seems only compatible with buttplug, the embedded intiface doesn’t seems to recognize my device, and even the device is connected to the intiface software, the game still doesn’t recognize the device after connecting to the intiface port.
You don’t need intiface for playing this game. You need to run SetariaPlayer.exe, and make sure you have not connected the device to intiface, otherwise it won’t show up in connected devices.
Thank you for responding. Let me try to understand it, so I don’t need to alter any existing setting and just make sure my handy 2 is turned on for pairing? I tried that once but it does not pair, and when I click refresh icon, in the log section it returns:
“Buttplug.ButtplugDeviceException: Device scanning already stopped.
at Buttplug.ButtplugClient.StopScanningAsync()
at SetariaPlayer.MainWindow.<RescanButton_Click>b__31_0() in Y:\Video\MBad2\inter_games\SetariaPlayer\MainWindow.xaml.cs:line 303”
and when I go to intiface section of Setaria Player and click reconnect (since both app and the handy 2 pro is not connecting), the logs returns:
“Trying to connect Intiface
Failed to connect to intiface!”
Just to be clear, is your handy connected to your pc? I think you need to put it into legacy bluetooth mode (Steady Cyan indicator color on your handy). If you have trouble connecting your handy to your pc, check the bluetooth version of your pc, I think it needs bluetooth v4.2 or newer. If your handy is connected to your pc, then the SetariaPlayer or intiface should see it.
ahh I got it working! I just delete and re-downloading whole thing, using intiface apps to connect The Handy instead of embedded intiface, and after click save and start, once I click the reconnect in the intiface section, it’s shows the handy was linked, thanks for the help!
