SexLikeReal finds its legacy after going through some major changes

Tech comes at a cost. Not a single one man company player can’t compete what we are doing in the long run. You need a team of UI designers, coders, releasers, testers.

Our tech pipeline is huge. Don’t compare a bike to a sport car. The difference between SLR app and other players is exponentially growing. We are into something really big.

Btw that’s our latest on depthmaps [Updated videos] SLR Depthmaps in the making - SLR community forum for the best VR porn videos

LOL, that’s a good one    Last feature you tried to “add” was removal of DLNA support. Oh, and also other great feature like removal of support for Oculus Go and GearVR. Oh, and also latest one: you can’t use scripts anymore if you are not SLR subscriber.

The difference between SLR app and other player will definitely grow, but maybe not the way you think it will. Heresphere is 1000x better and it’s not in the hands of some visionary that removes the features whenever he feels like it.

I’d wish you can make sense of what you are talking. I can’t.

SLR brings unparalleled experience and there’s little to compare with. DLNA will be much better with SMB coming, yet it will be a Premium feature

I will point out the latest features for you then. If it doesn’t help, use Google Translate:

  • you stopped support for Go and GearVR
  • you disabled DLNA, saying that it’s not sustainable, but brought it back after people got mad at you, and apparently DLNA support is not a problem anymore
  • you force people to subscribe if they want to use scripts with your app, even if they were your customers in the past
  • DeoVR stopped working with almost all VR sites beside SLR (it worked before)

And you are trying to add a feature that Heresphere has right now, meaning that you try to catch up with a project run by one person. That’s right - DeoVR team with many devs with SLR funding is behind a one person project.

If this is “unparalleled experience” you have a very special thought process. People who look for a one time all-in-one solution should definitely get Heresphere, because it’s a video player made with passion, not greed.

Hi Quicktrust82,

I’ve been known to have a pop at doublevr in the past about how he communicates but in the aim of being fair I will address some of your points

Support for GO and Gear Vr was stopped by Oculus about 18 months ago, and SLR about this time last year stopped supporting it. That’s Meta/facebook/Oculus’d fault not SLR

They disabled DLNA as they thought it wasn’t important we complained they listened. That’s what’s meant to happen and isn’t really something to beat them with.

Your not forced to subscribe to use the app you can also make a one off script purchase for the same effect. Considering using the app uses there servers paying a few dollars to support a scripter and use the software isn’t unreasonable.

The last point I have no idea about as I dont know what exactly you mean by stopped working.

Just to let you know I also use an Oculus Go so I understand your frustration as I thinks it a great piece of kit. I also Get that DoubleVR tends to react to messages in an undiplomatic way.

I hope Heresphere is successful as a monopoly is never healthy and mentioning features of Heresphere to the devs at SLR will only help them improve. (The discussion on depth mapping versus how Heresphere does it was a good read despite me understanding very little.)

I hope the explanantions help diffuse some of the Drama which is taking over the site in last month and helps the forum get back to being about scripts and scripting.

Yes, however spamming posts about how DeoVR and SLR are the greatest things in the world is making a mockery out of eroscript users. And clearly DeoVR is not the best VR player at the moment.

Add the feature first, then announce it - not the other way around. I saw so many “promises” and “features” coming from SLR that never saw the light of the day that I don’t believe a single word written here. It’s a very aggressive marketing campaign with empty promises. No need to promote something that doesn’t exist in my opinion.

Btw you can’t access interactive features in SLR app if you haven’t subscribed or bought a script recently. If you supported them in the past, you are not considered their customer.

I must admit im not seeing the spamming. DoubleVR started this post to address issues the community had. Heresphere and Handy/NaughtyAmerica both have there own posts. Double VR isn’t in the Heresphere one and only posted in the handy one when he was summoned.

SLR do occasionally post here to get our opinion. They do the same on there own forum but when they only listen to their own forum they do things like remove DLNA because they think its not important.

I’ve not heard of there being a timelimit of when you had to have purchased the scripts. I was under the impression that if you had a registered account and had purchased a script that was all you needed. I am however aware that this doesnt count any free script downloads if you were a past member. I’m sure SLR support would be happy to help if you are having a problem using the service and have bought a script in the past.

I would say if you are wanting to promote and signal boost Heresphere then posting against a product is the wrong way to go on this forum. It literally just puts this to the top and buries the other one. A guide on how to use Heresphere or on what the demo version does might be more useful in promoting it.

Time will tell if such “enhancments” or changes will happen in the future again. Time told me in the past that it will happen. It’s a business and one can like it or hate it. I don’t have feelings like hate or love for them, but I know that’s what will happen if it’s good for business. And it seems that is the reason why I, as a former customer, cannot benefit from my former subscription in this round. Anything else would also be irrational. And that is why promises should not be seen as ultimate. That is marketing in the first place. Every company should be judged by its actions and not by its promises.

I also don’t like them or hate them, I just know that those features will most likely be replaced with something that will try to force people into their subscription model. I also don’t care about SLR vs NA war in the other posts, it’s only making both companies look like a bunch of 5 years olds shouting who is better at each other.

I just want people to be aware that so far there is almost no improvement over what DeoVR used to be few years ago and it’s not likely gonna change in the near future. Depthmaps are nothing new and Heresphere had them for over a year now. I don’t like when corporations are trying to make such a big deal of putting someone’s else ideas in their apps. Still I would like to see it happen in SLR app, but am very sceptical about it.
