I have connected my Lovense Solace Pro to MultiFunPlayer and am able to play scripts and everything, but the movement behavior is a little weird.
In particular, it seems that oscillating between 0 and 3 causes little to no movement at all. I need to oscillate to at least 4 for my device to respond more accurately.
I know that the device is capable of quick and small movements because Lovense Remote and the device itself have automatic oscillation modes where this is demonstrable. In general, any kind of smaller adjustments seem almost not to exist.
Some faster scripting are inaccurate and slowed, almost like there is a speed cap. I tried to configure MFP to disable the Smart Limit and Speed Limit, which did not resolve my issues.
I tried messing around with Update Settings > Upload Rate. I have no idea what I’m doing but higher numbers seemed to be more responsive and accurate. I haven’t touched Output Target Settings. I’m not sure what that does exactly.
I’m a total newbie, so any info is good info. Thanks
You need to disable oscillation and only use the linear/position actuator. Oscillation is to make the device move automatically without scripts.
Also in MFP try changing from FixedUpdate to PolledUpdate in device map, maybe it cant handle that many commands.
Setting to PolledUpdate and maximum Upload Rate helped a lot, but the problem still mostly persists. I think you’re right, though: It doesn’t seem capable of fine control.
