FWIW… I’d use xbvr instead if your primary method of consumption is the Quest. It’s great to just pop the headset on and go rather than fiddling with Virtual Desktop or (air)link.

Almost there… managed to get everything to play properly via steam link app on Quest 2. Now I am struggling to get MFP to connect. It will play scripts fine when accessed via my PC browser, but I need to connect it to Heresphere.

Click the 3 circle stack in local point it to were all your scripts+videos are and for stash set up all your endpoint stuff and you should be good to go!

So once you do that you should just be able to launch stash,stashvr,heresphere then MFP tell MFP to connect to hereshpere and then connect your toy at the bottom and you should be set. i personally let hereshpere direct connect to the handy and only use MFP when im using a multiaxis or its built-in web for flat
Also just a thing i do to make all this faster is i just have a folder with everything in it
while i setup my toy i just click all 3 in a line by the time im down setting up its ready i put on my quest link into hereshpere and done it was faster when i used my index but that died a couple months ago

Set up Stash.
Set up Stash VR via the windows .exe
Use Heresphere via PC, NOT the Quest headset itself
- In my case, run the Steam Link app (from Quest Store) and then run Heresphere from Steam that way
THEN get the Patreon exclusive MFP - Edit: Not necessary for VR play
THEN follow these steps for MFP
Alternatively, Stash could like actually incorporate a working VR video player. OR you could skip all of this and use XBVR.

The Patreon is only for the web browser for flat atm free one works with hereshpere already!
just make a web thing with the browers link of your stash and it will open a browers window that’s always sinked with MFP!

I was using the web connection for flat stuff. Unnecessary for my use case, but happy to support MFP anyway.
Ye spent like a week or 2 trying to get this all to work because using whirligig with just labeled folders became to much of a pain. but this setup feels pretty good for what feels like brute forcing the issue with 4 programs all working together.
1 Issue that sometimes happens to me is if i scroll the video list to fast in hereshpere my pc will just reboot or hereshpere will crash you have to wait like 1-5 seconds or till the thumbnails load before scrolling another page for it to be safe also if a thumbnail isn’t showing its because the size of it is messing with something and i fix it by just snipping tool cropping it and readding it.
LOL I just sent you a private message that this took me a solid week to get working properly. I’m going to move the conversation there so that this thread stays vaguely relevant for anyone else who may face this issue in the future.
