wish i could contribute more, but it’s not just the costs of hosting going up… :frowning:

Weird, I was definitely a patron before and certainly never cancelled anything but didn’t seem to be on one of the tiers when I just checked. Anyway, I’m definitely a patron now!

Add a few intermediate steps to donate to Patreon: $10 - $40 - $70

I feel like since a lot of people here might like to collect scripts, some feature aimed towards collecting funscripts or more easily searching the forums, could be a nice perk to sub for.
I mean, we have that add-on coming which will scrape all the .funscript files and generate a script.
I’d love to have like, a 1-click to download the whole free .funscript file archive with the post names appended to the filename (some people don’t name the .funscript file), so I can search around through it. I know there’s that project coming as well that will have a sort of repo.

With the search, you can’t see preview pics, so I mentioned that could be a useful feature. Also since the forum seems to track how far you scrolled on each post, it knows whether you’ve seen a post or not, so a way to search for posts I haven’t seen could be pretty neat.

These could be features that don’t make or break anything, but can save people time for their $$, which I think is part of why people buy funscripts of the videos the like - it would take too much time to script it themselves.

Honestly, maybe even a Monthly Highlights archive that gets sent out to everyone, where the top scripts and/or posts of each month are sent out in an easily digestible format, could be pretty cool. Might save me time constantly checking the forums each day

Honestly I think we could use a builtin player and “I came” button like on the rule34 booru iirc
So you don’t even have to download anything to play the scripts and you can check what videos did you actually use

I’ve hoarded at least 200GB and I doubt I’ve watched even a third of it

I have 10k funscript files
But well, yep, that’s not much if that’s VR vids

This is just a suggestion. I have no intention of forcing nolife king to do.

Although it may be difficult to make continuous donations, if there is a system that allows you to donate small amounts when you have the financial means, please consider it.

Of course, one option would be to pay through Patreon and then immediately cancel…
It would be better if you could use Paypal.

The yen is weaker than the dollar and euro, so it’s difficult to contribute as much as I’d like…

Anyway, I gave him $5 for the wine.

An Idea to Support the Forum and Help Script Creators

I had a little idea to help support the forum and at the same time make it easier for script creators to sell their work here.

What if we set up a system where, for every paid script posted, a small contribution goes toward the forum’s maintenance and development? It wouldn’t need to be much — just enough to help cover the hosting costs and keep things running smoothly for all of us.

Maybe we could create a simple “Marketplace” section, where members can list their scripts for sale. Each sale could automatically include a small fee (like a few percent or a fixed amount) that goes directly to the forum fund.
This way, creators can sell their scripts easily, buyers have a dedicated space to find what they need, and the forum benefits too! A win-win for everyone.

Just throwing the idea out there — I’d love to hear what you all think!

Honestly, this would be kind of convenient in that the payment processing would be setup for anyone selling scripts under the Eroscript Marketplace. I can’t be bothered to do all the setup so I can start selling my scripts, or do a Patreon right now. I’m not sure if we could pull it off or if Vlad would want to, though.

I may or may not being working on this as we speak.
