Edit: Durability problems
I have had it for a little over 3 weeks now and have tested it a bit and here is my thoughts on everything so far:
It arrived well packaged in a thick discreet box with a lot of tape on it, making it feel very secure and nice. Looking at it, there is no way to tell that there is a sex toy in there. If you are very worried about someone finding out, then the closest they can come is to read the shipping note which says massager in small text. Opening it up (I got the Syncpackage Pro), it all came very securely and neatly packaged inside a briefcase. Taking it out and putting it together, it feels like it’s sturdy and built to last. The briefcase also seems to be of good quality which is great for both safe shipping and keeping it safe and tidy when putting it away.
Getting set up was very easy. There is a USB dongle that comes with the device with a program called Syncplayer, which is where you can add your own local videos and analyze them for the AI to create movements. The time it takes to analyze videos for AI scripts depends on your hardware and the length of the video but it’s pretty fast imo, if you have a lot of videos just leave them overnight and they will be done when you wake up. I added a random video and started analyzing just to show the time it takes for me.
If you want to convert scripts from funscript to Syncbot (.attract), then you need Fun2Sync which is currently in early testing so you will need to ask the syncbot team for access to this. Just ask them for access either here, on Discord, or by DMing them. After converting funscripts which takes less than 1 second, they are automatically added to the folder where Syncplayer can read them. So if you have the video added to Syncplayer, the next time you launch it, it is good to go. Currently there is no way to tell which videos are AI or Funscript converted, but they are working on adding this in the next update among other things. These 5 vids are converted scripts and you can see the blue where there is movement.
You also have SyncBrowser which has AI scripts for most pornhub videos and makes it all very easy, just launch it and PH is the main page and then just pick a video and it starts moving. They also plan to support more sites in the future. There are also some manual converted scripts on PH shared by the Syncbot team and links are on their discord. Pulled up a random video and you can see the heatmap, intensity sliders, and the cum button functions that I opened.
The first time I used it I lasted about 10 minutes, but I was experimenting and switching between videos so it would have been less if I had focused on one. I also wanted to see if it could get me off multiple times in a short period, and it did, three times in three hours which the handy would not be able to do for me. It felt really nice to experience a lot more movements, definitely different from the handy, but in a good way. I also found my enjoyment to increase on subsequent uses after getting a bit more used to it and learning how it works. Now, after 3 weeks of use I managed to do a bit of edging with it on some slow blowjob videos and damn, that shit feels amazing, pure bliss. Yes, better than the handy imo.
I don’t have a hands-free stand for it yet but it is very easy to use hands-free without. Syncbot doesn’t have any exterior parts to worry about so I have just put a towel between it and the desk and just let it rest on the desk edge and it works hands-free like that. You can also lay on top of it in bed or in any other position you can think of. I also like that you don’t need to be hard before starting, just put it in and let’s go.
The cleaning process is also very easy and quite fast, not as fast as the 1 sleeve handy but its still nice. I like to take the scabbard apart into three pieces to make sure it’s fully cleaned, and it’s also faster to dry this way which is the slowest part of it but pretty fast if you’ve got some windy tools. What I do is use an electric PC dust blower and just go vrrr for a minute or two and it’s pretty much dry. Then I just leave it in front of a tower fan for an hour or two to make sure. After that I put the pieces back together which took a bit of practice to start with but now I find it very easy to do.
Let’s talk about the AI script quality. In the beginning, the AI struggled a bit with 3D content but did well with real-life stuff, however after the latest update it works a lot better. There are still a few videos where I get no movement, but it’s much improved and will just get better over time. It even worked for most 3D monster and beast videos I tried as well. It also works with PMV and HMV content and it syncs to the movement there. I also noticed that on occasion during some cum scenes the AI script actually vibrates a bit, not sure how that is calculated but it was a pleasant surprise, felt like a handcrafted manual script when it happened. Hentai though, doesn’t really work, I tried a Derpixon video and some other ones but got no movement from the AI at all. As for the movement itself, sometimes it can be a bit delayed when a scene switches, but it works alright and feels pretty accurate for the most part. It can also sometimes add movement to scenes where there is no penis involved, you can see where the AI has created movement in blue.
Then you have converted funscripts, and I personally think that the action-based scripts work really well with the Syncbot, they feel great and if they are well made then they are superior to the AI ones imo. Cock Hero up-down with some slight variations like vibrations also works quite well. PMV/HMV scripts that have a lot of janky and short shaky movements and are usually timed with the music feels a bit weird, they feel a bit toned down but it’s hard to explain, it’s like you are using the device at half its potential and I might prefer the AI scripts here since they sync to the movement and have the full range of motions. I didn’t try that many scripts yet though so might have just been some bad luck on the PMVs. I know they are working on improving things every day, and they are also currently working on a way for script creators to make 3 scripts for the 3 different movements and then convert them into a single Syncbot script which sounds awesome. The Syncbot scripts currently look like this:
So as you can see, there is currently no way to tell what they belong to or if they were converted or AI created, and this makes it impossible to delete the scripts you want. This is something they are working on making better. The syncbot team also reads our feedback and suggestions on discord to improve on the product, some things that were implemented in the last update were from user feedback.
Gotta talk about some of the negatives as well which imo is no native VR or game support yet, AI scripting on VR vids does not work from the ones I tried. You can use it in VR though by converting a script and launching the video in Syncplayer and a VR player at the same time but it takes a bit of trial and error on the syncing. I know they are working on ways to support both of these, so hopefully only a matter of time. VR and Buttplug support would make me love it even more.
It also makes quite a bit of noise, the kind where someone outside the door would definitely hear it kinda noise, so the use of earplugs or closed back headphones for better immersion is something I would recommend. You can however adjust the intensity of the moving parts, and if you turn off the rotating suction part then the noise is not bad at all but it definitely dampens the experience, this is the bottom controls on the pics above.
The up and down movement is also shorter than the handy but combined with the other 2 movements I still think it feels a lot better overall.
Price, it’s not cheap but it feels like you get a lot of value for your money here with all that comes with it like the Syncplayer that can make AI scripts, I have seen sites that charge 5-10 dollars a month for the AI stuff alone.
TLDR: The device is great and overall feels better than the Handy. It feels like its built to last. AI scripted videos are good for real and 3D stuff but there can be some delays between scene switching and the movement from time to time, the accuracy is also not 100%, but I still think it’s pretty decent. AI doesn’t work with hentai content or VR yet. Converted scripts are accurate and nice with action-based scripts, but short, shaky music based PMV/HMV scripts feel a bit toned down to me and could use some tuning, but I didn’t test that many yet so could have been bad luck. No VR or game support yet. Cleaning is quick and easy, but drying can take some time unless you have some windy tools available. The triple movement works great and edging with the Syncbot will put you in pure bliss.
Hopefully this can help a bit to make a more informed decision before deciding on anything. I would say if VR and game support aren’t critical to you right away and you are looking for something new that feels great, then yes I can definitely recommend the Syncbot.
Im just gonna put my edit at the bottom here instead of changing things. I have tested more PMV and HMV scripts since I made this early thoughts “review” and I can say that most PMV/HMVs that I tested since, has been great and felt amazing. I also want to just applaud the AI scripts again cause I just find them really impressive and sometimes I prefer them over the converted funscripts since it makes good use of all the 3 movements that is available. So yes, I can recommend Syncbot even more now than before, if you are looking for something new then this is it.
