To clarify I had changed the app settings to have it not generate its own instance and just use the initiface I manually launched which ended up working in the end so all was good on that end

Got an error with SUMMER 14 days of Vacation
The first and second scene (Both CGs) don’t launch any script in the unity box I got 2 warning:
“[Warning: Unity] There can be only one active Event System.
[Warning: Unity] PlayOneShot was called with a null AudioClip.”
First line appear when I launch the game
Second when the CG scene starts.
The plugin load well script can be found in the EDI launcher when I use “select game” then EDICONFIG.json.
Do I miss something here ?

Only the animations are scripted. You’ll need to play a bit further until you can start requesting the animated scenes.

Question, I’m working on a script for a mod I’m working on. But some animations sometimes are like 3 frames. Do you just loop them a few times to make a script when you make yours? Or just make a single loop as close to the animation with what you’ve got?
I usually try to extend scripts for looping animations until they’re over 7 seconds long. I originally started doing this because some animations would loop halfway through strokes which can cause stutters.
By extending the scripts I was at least able to make the stutters less frequent.
Almost all of my mods now restart the script whenever an animation loops and it has been more than 7 seconds since the script was last sent. This way I don’t have to script a frame-perfect length funscript that’ll always stay in sync when Edi loops it internally.
In the mod zip there is a folder for the funscript player. I just followed the steps as usual except when it came time to start the player I used the newer version by moving the scripts over into a folder with the newer funscript player which i downloaded. I deleted the old funscript player folder so I wouldnt confuse myself but I dont think its necessary. Afterwards I just did everything as per the instructions and all went well.
Another game recommendation that I think would work really well with a script. Action games complement scripts quite well I think.
Thanks for the help but I guess this wasn’t my issue. I don’t see any instructions like you mentioned but I have successfully set up a few games that used EDI so I tried following roughly what I did in those guides. I’m going to leave my process here step by step in case anybody can see something wrong with what I’m doing and is willing to help.
- Extract base game folder.
- Extract expansion folder inside the base game folder C:\Users\Aroogabooga\Downloads\Succubus_Academia\Succubus Academia, replacing all files.
- Extract the toy integration mod to the previously mentioned folder.
- Replace the version of funscript player included with FunscriptPlayer v1.4.4 as found in the original post, including replacing scripts.
- Launch funscript player and successfully connect to my handy (In legacy bluetooth mode).
- Select simulate game and launch Succubus Academia (I’m not sure if there’s an order that matters here but I’ve tried both).
- Fail to have funscript player sync to the game despite being able to manually set scripts as well as the attack and filler buttons both working.
I’ve found through writing this process that my game status on the original funscript player file remains blank which I assume is the cause of my Issue but I don’t know what to do about it. I saw to4st explain what to do about this issue in this topic thread in March of 2023 but I don’t think I’m technologically literate enough to understand the instructions being given.

Im recently out of a job thanks to moving across country. If someone or someone mods that need some scripts done I can pull up the sleeves learn and makes some scripts for games. Let me know!
It does sound like the player is working fine and the issue is with the mod.
Do you remember what files it prompted to replace? Maybe a screenshot of the game directory could help.
What version of Succubus Temptation do you have?
its ok i solved it just had long file paths and sometimes it wasnt able to find it. there was another error above so its working now.
This screenshot has the funscript player 1.4.4 files in the same folder as the game folder but I’ve tried having them in their own deeper folder like the original file layout. I’m not sure if that matters but I have tried them both. If you’re asking what files the toy integration mod replaced the only one it replaced was the README file.

Defo avoid the Succubus Slot stuff or buy it from dlsite though. All of the others i came across were carrying chunky no no files in them.
