Trouble connecting Handy 2 to Funscript Player / Intiface central

Hey peeps! I have been trying to connect my handy 2 pro to funscript player but for some reason after it detects the device, as soon as it finishes connecting, the device restarts and it’s stuck in this never ending loop of connect - restart - connect - restart.

I have tried to use intiface central directly instead of the incorporated one in funscript player but the behavior is the same, here are the logs that it gives every time the restart happens.

Could somebody help me out? i can’t seem to find any solution for this

If you are not already making sure its booting into legacy bluetooth mode do so.

With the new roll of the Handy 2 (which starts at firmware 4 by default) or if you updated your handy to FW4, you will find out that you are unable to connect to bluetooth for things such as intiface, very important for many game integrations. I have had issues on FW 4.1 where even when I set it to BOOT into legacy mode It will give similar errors so I boot into wifi, Switch to bluetooth and then Hold up and then hold mode to switch to legacy mode.

I am using the v1 handy though but from what I know its the same.

For me, the Handy 2 Pro only connects to Interface Central when I use Bluetooth Legacy. It only works if I manually switch the connection setting in the app to Bluetooth Legacy, then fully close the app. After that, the Handy connects to Interface Central normally.
I also tried using the Bluetooth Legacy boot mode, but with that I get the same error code you’re getting.

Yup i was setting it with legacy Bluetooth as it’s boot mode, but i had no idea that would be the problem

This worked! Thank you so much for the help! It seems very counter intuitive to have to do it manually every time for it to work but alas it is what it is.
