I’ve been away for a bit but I do think an explanation is in order.
This was a very long discussion with the mod team (going on months)
We properly reviewed US law and considered how we should apply it.
We’ve been back and forth between a few options.
We had to decide between what we wanted and what would be doable.
What we wanted was to respect our users freedoms as much as the law would permit, but because the law is vague (it doesn’t define what an animated minor is)
It would be difficult to comply while also allowing loli content by name.
The original plan was that we would play it by ear and decide per post, but that isn’t really feasible.
I want everyone to know that this was not an easy decision.
