As it was announced that the site is now going to be banning loli/shota with no new topics allowed to be made with the tag on July 6th (roughly 13 days depending on where you live) and with all topics being removed after two-ish months depending on how the removal method goes. Site update topic:

Reiterating our criteria

• Visuals that have clearly prepubescent proportions, features, and/or scenario will not be allowed
• Exceptions for anything that’s clearly exaggerated (eg. adult character drawn in a chibi art style)
• However, given the nature of fiction, there will always be edge cases. Ultimately moderators will use their discretion and have final say.
• If you’re uncertain, DM a mod and ask

I’ve been away for a bit but I do think an explanation is in order.
This was a very long discussion with the mod team (going on months)

We properly reviewed US law and considered how we should apply it.
We’ve been back and forth between a few options.

We had to decide between what we wanted and what would be doable.
What we wanted was to respect our users freedoms as much as the law would permit, but because the law is vague (it doesn’t define what an animated minor is)
It would be difficult to comply while also allowing loli content by name.

The original plan was that we would play it by ear and decide per post, but that isn’t really feasible.

I want everyone to know that this was not an easy decision.

So here is the place to properly show your thoughts about it. I have tried my best to have the polls below allow everyone to show their thoughts/opinions on the matter, I can only apologize in advance if they do not make yourself feel this is true. (polls can only be modified within 5 mins)
Polls also are set to not show who voted.
Once again though this is only to vote on the polls to show your thoughts/opinions on the matter, I don’t want people to comment and start a fight or massive debate about it as that’s been done many times in the past.
