What are you using to play funscript and VR

Nice I have the same exact setup. With the release of the HP Reverb G2 and its insane 4k per eye resolution and clarity I’m thinking of upgrading to that to put the Odyssey+ on the bench.

I use Scriptplayer+Whirligig with The Launch. SLR with the Handy.

I’d like an update for script player with better handy support. I’m using the prototype fork and sometimes it’s hard to tell if it’s connected it not.

Edit: Using Handy, script player and CV1 Oculus

Are you using the beta scriptplayer that Liquid mentioned over at RTS? You can find the beta player here: https://github.com/FredTungsten/ScriptPlayer/wiki/Downloading-Beta-Builds

Liquid’s RTS post about it here

Go has better video quality than WMR and Rift … I returned my Samsung Odyssey 2 because it was worse than Go and I don’t play VR games …

HMD: Android phone with Dreamview running the VRidge app.
PC: Rifcat application, which starts SteamVR with Whirlig

As the first PC cannot connect the launch (BT issues I guess)
I have a Second PC mapping the network share of the first one with the scripts, where I run scriptplayer connected to the launch and whirlig as the player.
I had to create a proxy in the first PC as whirlig only advertises in 127.0.0.1 instead of the IP visible to the second PC.

I pre-order a HP Reverb G2, so I guess things should get less complicated by the end of the year.

NOTE:
Tried DeoVR and DLNA server, but I only see the folders instead of the files. Other people have seen the same issue in reddit, but DLNA works fine in other programs like VRTV, so I guess is an issue with DeoVR.

Samsung GearVR with Galaxy S7, a local server serving links generated with the Handy URL generator. Works, and costs nearly nil in hardware as I had the S7 already.

@Husky5383- yes by far smartphone cardboard is cheapest way to start off (even gearvr is even better if u can get it cheap) but u will likely need a 2nd tablet/smartphone device to run slr interactive for best playback

of course, much better going with wired pc vr headset if u have the budget to

I watch 2d and VR with my Pimax 5k+ Headset on Windows via SteamVR/Valve Lighthouses and Whirligig. Very happy this way.

Anyone running on their iPhone? I run DEOVR on my iPhone and SLR Interactive on my iPad and use a basic VR headset and they run perfectly fine. The only issue I’m having is figuring out how to play any 3rd party scripts (I.e. ones I would download from this site) through my current setup. I have an old Mac computer packed away (I recently moved) but only have Apple products across the board. Any help or advice would be appreciated

I still use my Samsung S8 with my GearVR and run SLR Interactive on a separate phone. It works with no delay. I keep saying I’m going to upgrade, but I’m still waiting for these new VR sets to come out. Gear VR is pretty good.

OSR2+, Joyfunplayer, Oculus Quest, DeoVR.

So if I get an oculus GO, my launch, my Iphone xr and my windows computer will it be possible to play funscript and videos from here ? By connecting launch and oculus to my pc ?

My Quest Launch Windows and Android worked together. I should think so yes.

I would go for the Quest 2 if you can afford it.

I have Oculus Go and just use the DeoVR software, and then go to the SexLikeReal website through the DeoVR browser. I have TheHandy though, but it works like this:

I hook my Go up to my PC, download my vids on my PC, download the scripts, give the vid and script the same name and put them in the same folder, then transfer it over to my “downloads” folder in Go. Disconnect my Go, go to the SexLikeReal website through the DeoVR browser, input my Handy key in the settings menu, and I’m ready to start.
