What happened to the FunGen 2 Thread & K00gar?
Thread & User deleted, FunGen Website still up. Seen nothing about it here or on their Discord. Wondering if “something” has happened

@roa are you aware of anything? it looks like k00gar deleted their account.
Fungen is still up and running and he is working on it and we are waiting for an update. His words on discord where the topic had been trolled, it did not feel right to continue here.
I think he was overreacting but whatever, it is his decision. Price discussion, again, his decision what he wants for his work, OFS vs Fungen and a bad attitude against AI scripts were not helpful.
So about what I’d expect from an AI developer.

Yeah about these kind of posts make them go.
He could have made a new topic or just deleted the topic idk why he deleted his account. I Don’t think there’s a bad attitude towards ai scripts they can be blocked from the feed via tags people were against ai scripts being sold without disclosure.

They are just spineless, that’s all there really is to it. They cannot take any criticism whatsoever, delete/block/ban anybody giving criticism even if very politely and constructively, and choose to shutter away from the main source of recurring interest and viewership and practically tank their reputation that they spent years to build up on this site. And they genuinely have no business sense at all lol. It’s rare to see such a trainwreck in niches like these.
Also, i can almost guarantee Walton is involved more deeply with the project than he appears. He has done nothing but brownnose and whiteknight for k00gar since at least 2.0 launched. If anyone is really trolling here, it’s him. Perhaps he stands to gain financially from it as well, i don’t know. He definitely has insider information about k00gar’s actions based on our DMs (which he proceeded to promptly delete once he realized he spilled a bit too much tea, i suppose). Without his side of the convo in the screenshots i have, it is unfortunately my word against his, but nevertheless i’m sure it’s not hard to see how he has constantly been defending k00gar’s actions at every single step and constantly been gaslighting people with price comparisons and how “it’s such a good deal bro trust me” whenever the heat was getting to k00gar.
To think i genuinely believed in FunGen since early 2025 and have numerous comments in various threads where i directed people to support their ass. Lesson learned. My principles have never changed. Funscripts have to be automated at some point, yes, but efforts for this must remain as much as possible open source/community driven, accessible to all, decentralized. FunGen does not currently do any of that. K00gar is not the same person they were a few months ago either. People should honestly think twice before giving them 250 (about to be 300 at the end of august based on earlier website data) euros for a lifetime access, which can be unilaterally revoked without reimbursement at any point if they so choose, as per their own TOS.

I’m not happy with him leaving or wanting to leave. Idk what you mean by turning the lights off it’s a situation where he doesn’t want to discuss his product on the forum anymore you don’t delete your account over that.
Fungen cost? I didn’t follow this app / tool at all, I am totally clueless. I knew it, I thought it’s just an automated script generator, so I never really bothered with it. I didn’t know it cost. And if, I thought it was something like 20, 30 for a one time purchase. For the price of 250, you can get access to one year of highly capable tools. Video tools, AI tools, sound tools, image tools and so on. So that price seems quite steep.

It’s also just an alternative to ofs you can use it to script normally as well. It seems to have the most accurate ai scripts? but yea the price is high.
Yes, you heard it right. You can go right now to the fungen.app website and see the costs. 75 euros for a yearly SUBSCRIPTION and 250 euros for a lifetime deal (which is viewed as “very cheap” and “great deal” by the cultists still heavily promoting this tool). And i reiterate, your rights to your purchase can be voided unilaterally at any point depending on how k00gar feels that day. There is also as of now still an unwritten way to get only a 1-month access to fungen by subscribing to the patreon for 25 euros a month. Barely documented anywhere, probably will get deleted soon without any warning, just the same kind of rugpull that has been done by k00gar multiple times already over this summer period.
Meanwhile there are now several other projects aimed at funscript AI generation made by the community that are literally free, and a community effort. And their quality is not much worse than that of FunGen AI. The money you could pay for this one is better used to support those other people instead imo.
Yeah that part is free. You dont need to iframe, nice export of clip and chapters with script, key macros, library with preview just to name a few. I really really like the app. Price discussion is over. He takes what he wants 250 or more. Dont buy if you dont want to. Bugs and beta. Hope next version fixes the bullet time to go back to zero. You can then go back completely to the first point you set for the script.
You don’t get to decide if/when the price discussion is over. I’m sorry, i’m just honestly tired of hearing this from you and walton. K00gar also doesn’t get to decide that, however much i know it pisses them off.

I haven’t bought it and won’t be buying it price discussion can be had forever the dev listening to it is the only thing that is over.

Yes but discussion on the price isn’t you can say it’s not going to change but people will discuss it regardless of that fact.
Guess they think their product/opinion is the only thing that matters lol. Wouldn’t be surprised.
