Who wants 2D Conversions of VR vids?

Good morning,

Indeed such software would be a marvel, provided that it does the job well, that the rendering is acceptable and above all viewable.
I tested several free ones online, the result makes you vomit…

As several people said above, VR has taken over and it’s frustrating, many videos look attractive but impossible to watch.

I used to stop by every morning to see what’s new, now I only stop by 2 or 3 times a week.
If I take an average of what I see every day there are between 20 and 25 new scripts posted.
Of these 25 there must be 15 VR scripts (which I eliminate for lack of material), 3 paid scripts (which I eliminate), 3 PMV scripts (which I eliminate because
personally don’t suit me, that’s not what I’m looking for) 3 animation scripts (which I eliminate, I still don’t understand how you can get excited and enjoy while watching a cartoon), and 1 “classic” script "(a man and a woman who give each other pleasure) which I will be interested in.
Moreover, this survey is explicit:

So actually the “2D” find their happiness less and less easily while there are more and more new scripts.

So yes an easy to use tool to turn VR into 2D would be great, provided you get an acceptable result.

Afterwards, there would also remain the problem of files, most VR videos are hosted on paid subscription sites!!
(SLR, BaDoinkVR, VRBangers, WankzVR, 18VR etc…)

The main issue with VR is the headset and its support.

If you dont want facebook, there are no alternatives that are cheap. And there is a good reason to avoid facebook. Im not going to spend 1000 euros for something im barely going to use (purely for porn is not enough to justify that price). Allowing any phone with a gyroscope would be ideal here.

And with that i would just use a player on the phone and have that synched with MPC-HC, MPV or whatever video player you use on the pc. But support here is almost non existing. Sure, if you have a samsung phone (which not everyone has, especialy since the VR capable ones are generaly expensive), you can somewhat work around it, but even there, synchronization is limited.

And for VR players on phones, spending money without knowing if it works is a bad idea. They might play VR fine, but without synchronization, its not usefull. Sure, some might also have the content included in the player, and have decent synching. But again, you have to pay money for trying that to begin with. Having some sort of trial videos to at least test functionality would be welcome (and they dont even need to be porn videos, just a good indication to check if the VR part works and a good indication of device movement etc would be enough for a video).

And yes, some phones might not have good detection for moving your head. But usualy that doesnt realy matter. a 360 (or 180) degrees view is often more than enough. Its at least a good step for people to get into VR. Even static SBS videos without rotation can already make a diffirence just because you see depth.

But even using a 3rd party platform isnt enough when you want to script for VR yourself. In that case you just cant get around a direct connection with your pc.

(also, from my experience, if you set the video to a single eye, you end up with a fisheye effect, but zooming in does resolve that quite decently. A lot of VR videos are basicly depending on that very similar window so small distortions are often not going to be an issue. But again, limited support for these things makes most players unable to handle this)

Why not? I script for VR in OFS and have no connection to anything else while doing that. Once I’m done I export the script and test it in the same way as if I downloaded a VR video script from ES, i.e. the normal use case.

In OFS you can change to VR video mode and thereby have the projection changed into an almost flat view (based on one eye). You can zoom and change the view direction to find a suitable angle for scripting.

deovr player for android allows you to communicate with scriptplayer on your computer.
this way you just download the video to your phone and watch it through deovr, and add the necessary script to the scriptplayer

While making the script its not needed, but as usual, you want to test your script. And for VR, thats best done with some VR support (being able to see the action, even if its fisheye is fine).
Maybe i havent figured out to display those videos properly and face limitations there.

Except i cannot find that one in the playstore, and the site of deovr also doesnt have a link toward it.

I downloaded the application from a third-party source, it is quite easy to find it on the first links in the search

We did it back in the days but it was never good because it’s shot differently.

SexLikeReal can provide you all the help to make it work.
