1700 script index on Handy Feeling (Beta)

Is it expected that the scripts for the MILFVR scenes are for the trailers instead of the actual scenes? At first I didn’t notice the duration and got disappointed when I tried it  If it’ll stay that way, maybe adding that it’s for the trailer in the title would be a good idea.

Otherwise I tested a couple of other scripts and they were pretty good, no complaint there

That’s discussed above, it’s all bogus action info, so no heatmap, no editting, etc. It’s a horrible idea, and HandyAlexander is basically attempting to add DRM to funscripts. No thank you.

Aww yeah it wasn’t clear at all from the site and missed that discussion. Seems pointless to have the file download link if its bogus

The downloaded files work fine, but it’s tokens, not actual funscripts. So it will not show correctly in something that display funscripts. It needs to be used with the Handy server, it will play the correct script based on the token.
I also think that’s it’s a bit of a shame, but for something for free I don’t care too much

If the “product” is free, you are the product. Your privacy is compromised, and frankly, given the potential subject matter, that’s pretty fucking scary.

How is my privacy compromised any more than running a regular funscript through the Handy server?

The regular scripts might or might not have details about what you are watching. Funscripts can have metadata, but don’t have to. Csvs are purely number sequences.

Using token, they have your handy tied to exactly which scene, when, the status of your subscription to whichever site (which is potentially tied to your name and info, which otherwise Handy doesn’t have or know)

Again, if the product is free, your data is the pricetag.

How much would someone pay to know your porn watching habits? Marketing dream data…

That’s a fair point.

I’m not sure my porn watching habits are that much of an interest for marketing though.

Dont get me wrong I like a conspiracy theory as much as the next person but a few things to mention.

The product is far from free. Last I checked a handy is EUR 189.60

The site doesn’t ask for any information other than your handy key. Sure the Naughty America scripts require a subscription but they get your info from the dreamlover sub so not sure how much information they get.

This is there information on what info they use and keep.

What we track

This site

We at Sweet Tech take privacy very seriously. We have created an internet-connected sex toy; it is essential. When creating new services, we must have user data and privacy in our spine. Our motto is a modified Golden rule: “Track our users the way we would like to be tracked” - that is, minimally or not at all. This site does not use cookies, and our playlists and favorites are stored in local storage. Opening this site on another device will lose these stored values. We might add a method for exporting this value from one device to another using a file. Not the best user experience, but great for your data and privacy.

There is no analytics on the site. That has some consequences, like it is hard to detect errors and there are no stats on how the users interact with the site. Be kind and report any bugs or wishlist of improvements.

When allowing external videos to be played on the site, you will be tracked by the external site through various analytics. When enabling NSFW, images are loaded from the different supported sites. These sites might track you based on the images loaded, but the tracking is less specific since it will load a lot of images at once. To prevent this VPN is your only real protection.

This site is open source to give full transparency of whats happening on this site. Github repo of the index site

All true. But “tokens” break the community model… It’s DRM at minimum, and tracking at worst.

No thank you. As I said, I fully expect someone to workaround it, and “free the code”

Scripts are a series of movement and at the end of the day, locking that up will backfire.

Hi

Thanks for the feedback

Script size:
The scripts are script tokens and not full length scripts. It will be converted to the full length script on our servers. The data in the token is just info for the servers to identify the script. In this way we can be backward compatible with the funscript format.

Reloading:
I will look at that. It should load the script correctly on the first try.

Fav page:
Thanks. I fixed this now:-)

Nice! We added gzip again. It was like that in the beginning but was turned off by mistake.
For the Vue part, there will be a few more “challenging” changes. It’s built on Quasar, and the scroll part is part of that (modified more than I wanted!). Before making big changes, I want more feedback from the Beta.

But I love the accuracy and detail of your feedback <3

Added to the backlog👌

And the user. You somehow neglected to list that. Tokens can be (not always are) tied to the USER, like are they subscribed currently to a Studio/Service.

The more you talk, the more i hope people see how you are avoiding admitting that yes, you are attempting to DRM funscripts.

You can start reading the privacy statement on Handyfeeling to understand how your data is used.
Handyfeeling terms

Someone will find way to bypass these restrictions eventually; it’s just of matter of time. There’ll be an open-source alternative and there’ll be no point of having the DRM.

We get no user information from NA or other partners.

There is a level of trust here, as with all internet-connected things. We try to have everything as open as possible (the plugin, the index site, and the APIs are open, to mention some). And you are right, do not trust anyone online. Use VPN to hide your IP, use prepaid cards on adult sites and enter bogus names.

As mentioned by @Alderamin, we have no use in logging your porn habits, and the steps I mentioned are unnecessary when using the index site. The DRM system is mainly built to have our own internal online script system. Of course, we hope that the improved IP will improve our market position. The future advantages of online scripts are that we have a lot of script data mapped to one video, which allows us to do more fun in the future, like:

  • Switch targets (from one penis in the video to another or switch to become the female target)
  • On the fly, switch between profiles that match the sleeve you are using.
  • Improve the script for everyone that has downloaded it if we get feedback. No need to redownload the token!

And you always have the option not to use the site;-) We got many incoming user requests to script videos; we tried to listen and do what the community wanted us to do. This site is a supplement and nothing we are forcing on you. I made a scripting tool to help with community scripting: (Handy simple scripter) as I see this as the primary way of getting your content scripted. The output scripts can be used for all funscript-compatible devices and can be used offline.

Question: if I download a script token for VR Bangers, for example, and load it into HandyFeeling, can I use it with a video file from SLR or POVR? If not, that sort of defeats the purpose of downloading script tokens, doesn’t it? The whole reason I use those services (especially SLR) is so I don’t have to sign up for each individual site.

Yes, this is possible.

Excellent. And from there, I’d just load the video into the Local Video Player along with the script token, and go from there, right? (I have a Quest 2, so I’d likely be going through Virtual Desktop if the HandyFeeling player doesn’t work through the Quest 2 browser directly. I recall not having any issues doing that with NA scripts awhile back, so this should work the same way, yeah?
