So I recently bought a Handy after reading countless threads on how it’s the best device on here and Reddit since there’s so much script support for it and nothing else seems to come close in sheer number of recommendations. However, I didn’t really like it at all. The way it fastens the sleeve was way too jank causing the motor to not even be strong enough to consistently stroke. And it was just very slow and weak in general. Also the up and down only seems boring now that I’m reading about other axes from other devices. So I’ll be returning the Handy and need something better.
What’s the best automatic masturbator? The two best candidates I saw from research that were more “exotic” than the Handy were 1) the OSR2 plus and 2) the Syncbot. (Not counting Sr6 since it’s WAY outside budget). However the OSR2 plus from what I see cannot be setup easily even with a pre built since it seems you HAVE to mount? Is this true? You can’t use just it with hands? I’d be using on a bed for context. I don’t have a 3D printer nor the want to make any custom brackets I just want something that would be extremely simple and just work. Unless someone knows of an exact mount I can use on a bed thats sold as is and isn’t DIY?
That’s why I was gravitating more towards the Syncbot, but I saw some concerns on quality control and more importantly, people are saying it require a subscription to use the services?? I can’t find any reference to this on their website but I don’t want to buy it if I’m forced to pay monthly. They don’t clearly disclose what’s free vs not so I’m not even sure if this is a deal breaker or not.
Are there any good solutions here or perhaps another device that’s better/as good? Has to have multiple axes like roll or twist etc that these do. Want the best feeling possible. Also want to be able to drive them without scripts so I don’t have to do that all the time; is this even possible with either of them? Do I need a computer?
If you can’t mount it, OSR2+ is probably out the question. There are some unwieldy solutions but it’s best for desk mounting. OSR2+ is the apex right now for me, absolutely love mine.
You could try FUNSR1 2.0. It has twist (which is a must imo). Personally I would stay away from the SyncBot, they don’t seem very reliable.
You can use a Quest VR headset with DeoVR to stream videos and scripts from SLR. HereSphere is also an option with CzechVR and a few other sites.
I have my NAS storing my VR porn videos and scripts. Then I run xbvr on the NAS to make the files available to HereSphere - basically creating my own streaming service in-home. The NAS is effectively a computer running Linux though, so it doesn’t quite fit your requirements.
Regarding FunSR1, how much better is it than Handy? The speed is pretty similar it seems. Also how does it attach to sleeves? I can’t figure out what it would attach to https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256806623349389.html?gatewayAdapt=glo2usa4itemAdapt. One of my main issues with the handy was how the strap didn’t hold the sleeve well at all.
With Fleshlight attached it’s reasonably heavy, and with all the force it produces, handheld just wouldn’t work. Those bed mount examples work for sure, but they seem way more complex than just attaching to your desk with a clamp. Not exactly something you can hide easily either.
I have the FunSR1 1.0 (and had a handy before). They are pretty similar. Handy is better if you want fast scripts (imo the design of belt driven devices like SR1, SSR1 etc are not well suited to fast scripts). But if you want slow, edging style stuff, it’s absolutely perfect, nearly silent. Obviously big advantage of FunSR1 is that it holds full size fleshlights, as well as Onahole style.
I don’t like the straps really. FunSR1 has a double strap you can use for onaholes, but default is full size Fleshlight which attaches same way as OSR2+. You just slot it in, super easy. With the twist too, damn, so good. I sold my Handy because it feels so basic compared to a twisting full size Fleshlight.
Also FunSR1 2.0 has a handheld solution you get in the box when you buy it.
I like the osr2 but I’ve basically given up on the idea of using it in bed. Honestly the only way I can figure to do that is to mount it to a 4’x8’ sheet of plywood and straddle some kind of between-the-legs mount. Its truly a shame. Chair with a desk to clamp the thing onto is almost the only way you can use it.
Yeah I guess I didn’t consider doing that for some reason despite knowing such printing services existed. I’ll consider this now. Also where do you see the adapter? On that link it’s just a link to a Discord. Do you have the file?
You said you could stream the scripts wirelessly from a server. I’m asking what software are you using for that?
EDIT: oh you’re talking about an adapter for the Handy. I was looking for a sleeve adapter for the OSR2. darn
Do you mean ‘enough’ in terms of speed? The SR1 can carry up to 1kg sleeves, far more than Handy. But in terms of speed with with default sleeve, Handy goes about as fast as anything can safely go without breaking your dick..
In terms of speed + strength I guess. At higher speed it couldn’t provide the necessary torque to cause a thrust given the default sleeve (which just kind of bends limply without support). I also had wished the minimum and maximum distances were customizable so I didn’t have to waste so much of the speed since the speed is indirectly determined by the distance you set. I know there’s the whole custom sleeve thing and adapters but at that price tag I might as well go for something better out of the box you know?
