Best player for the BEST quality videos?

Just wondering what the best player is out there for the best quality of videos? When watching 8k, 7k, 6k, and all that - is there a player that stands above the rest for sending the EXACT video quality to your headset?

I’m running a:
14900KS
4090

Headset: PIMAX 8K X

I currently run - Whirligig… is there anything else I should be running that would improve image quality?

It would be nice to use NVIDIA features on these videos, like supersampling and all that but not sure thats even possible …

Try Herespehere. It has a free version too. You don’t have too pay upfront

Another vote for HereSphere. It’s available on PC from Steam. I will note that it takes a bit to understand the UI. There’s a ton of power to adjust videos, which is great for studios who are… less attentive to the VR presentation. It also integrates easily with various toys.

Keep in mind though HereSphere is only able to stream from some online sites. SLR is not compatible, which is unfortunate. HereSphere integrates very well with the VR porn library manager xbvr, but that is a decent amount of extra overhead if you just want to jerk off to a few videos.

I’ve seen XBVR before, does it function well with funscripts and is the guide pretty easily followed?

xbvr is great for funscripts in my experience. I’m using the on-headset version of HereSphere on my Quest Pro. I connect HereSphere to xbvr running on my NAS. HereSphere controls my Handy over wifi, automatically uploading the script for the xbvr scene I’m watching to the Handy.

It works similarly with the PC version of HereSphere.
