This is an attempt to make a wiki post that gathers descriptions for tags from the community, which could hopefully help standardizing the usage of certain tags. It could also be used to identify duplicate and redundant tags for staff operations.
See also: Required Tagging (tags already there are omitted below).
In Discourse 2.8.0 a tag description feature is added, which shows descriptions on tag banner and mouse hover. This post could also raise some suggestions for that.
➥ 2.8.0.beta9: Tag Descriptions, Recent Searches, Sticky Avatars, and more
This post is editable. Feel free to contribute if this sounds feasible to you.
Instructions
- Please provide a short description for tags in need.
- Add notes with bullet point if necessary.
- Delete tags that are no longer available.
