Man, I was starting to think I was the only one! 
This would also be an improvement for the scenario I described.
I tried this morning, but without success… When I try to connect my Handy with the key, a message tells me that I have to update the new firmware. I have the latest version and handyfeeling doesn’t offer me any other… Am I the only one concerned?

You could put the scripters’ names instead of just “Funscript”. That’s a pretty good place to start.
Preferably you would have more than the absolute bare minimum of information available.
- Name of Video
- Studio - link
- Actors - link if available
- Scripter - link
- Other contributors
These are things virtually everyone else does for a reason.

Update 20220911
- Feature: Channels and better tags/categories.
It is now easier to find top performers/channels directly on top of the page.
- Fixed/Improved: The search function has been improved, it should now return better and more accurate results. Additionally it shows images for performers/channels if available.
@burningshroom Thanks to the new tagging implementation, this is now possible. When I have enough time after (and sometimes during) development, I will start to add more metadata/attribution.

I think you’re misunderstanding what’s being said.
This is what your current iteration looks like.
It’s really not hard and requires actively avoiding doing even the bare minimum to provide information.
Sure, adding an information pane to the right is quite a bit of work, but the links themselves can have that same information not as metadata. Instead of a link that says “Funscript” that takes you here, change <\a href=“…”>Funscript</a> to <\a href=“…”>Funscript by Script Creator</a> the same way you did for the Pornhub channel…

Curious… do videos/scripts get added to the faptap site automatically – as new video/scripts get posted on here they get posted to faptap? or do you have to manually go in periodically to add them?
are certain videos/scripts excluded from faptap because of authors’ wishes and/or streaming availability?

He’s manually adding them. Not that long ago he finally removed a bit of material that was specifically requested to be by the authors.

Have a guide on troubleshooting a connection to a Lovense toy? Do I have Lovense Remote running or not, Lovense BT dongle or not?
None of the above seems to connect!

Most apps, and I believe this one, connect via the buttplug.io framework, which connects directly to devices via standard bluetooth.
You wouldn’t want another app running which was trying to connect to the same device, as the device will likely only talk to one app at a time.
I would hazard a guess that you wouldn’t want the dongle in either, assuming your device has regular bluetooth already, though not having experience with lovense devices I can’t say for sure.

@Bella What platform are you using? PC (Windows, MacOS, etc.) or mobile (Android/iOS).
It should actually be pretty straight forward:
- Click on the “Connect” button on the top right
- Select “Bluetooth”
- Click on “Connect”
To my knowledge, Lovense devices work on Android and PC (Linux, Windows, Mac OS X). I don’t have feedback about any iOS devices.
Windows 10 on a Dell Laptop. It has bluetooth, but some non-Lovense apps work with the internal Bluetooth device, and some insist on having the Lovense Bluetooth USB stick in place.
Breeders of the Nephelym uses the Lovense Bluetooth adapter and Lovense Remote, for example. (OR you can get your toy connected to the program with a far more kludgey toy->phone-> WLAN sharing scheme.)
I wasn’t sure where FapTap was looking for the toy, or if it gave up after trying the first Bluetooth adapter it found.
I’ve tried:
Just the toy.
Toy and Lovense BT adapter.
Toy, Lovense adapter and Lovense Remote.
Chrome with and without incognito mode.
I don’t know when Chrome/FapTap do the enumeration for where it might look for the toy, so I hadn’t tried restarting Chrome in between making changes.

Will you be forwarding that “out of sync” issue to scripters? Since they cannot manage their own content on the site I could see a video kind of getting blackholed if removed for that. I also feel it is justified if a script is released and such feedback is ignored. Given there is no user-driven ranking system.
I think directing a user to a script thread makes sense but also that there has to be a catch if a creator is ignoring complaints. I also know there has to be a manual script update on your end.
Just curious about your thoughts on the process there.

The current implementation is very primitive: A user reports a video and it gets flagged. The video will then be reviewed and deleted/updated, if there seems to be a problem with it.
I can certainly forward it to the original ES thread, if there seem to be timing issues.
The problem with directing users to EroScript threads is that if you don’t have an account or aren’t logged in, a generic “Not Found/Private” message will appear. Most users won’t understand that you need to register and will leave the website.
Could you provide more information about “Given there is no user-driven ranking system.”, how would you imagine it?
Lettings scripters manage their own content requires a lot of development on my side, but I might look into it, as soon as all main features are completed. In the long term it certainly makes sense. The question is about incentives. What does the scripter gain from managing his content on there? What could FapTap provide the scripter, etc. Financially, the site cannot offer anything, since it doesn’t generate any revenue.
Gotcha, that does make sense. Before I signed up here I thought everything kept getting deleted xD
My only ranking thought was that if a script wasn’t functioning properly people would downvote that which could send it down in display ranking. Really such a system can be as simple or complicated as wanted.
For scripters I was thinking more on just having control over their own content. Matters a lot for some. Another aspect would be browsing scripts by that creator, though that could be done without accounts. Certainly know how much more depth that would bring on dev and backend side.

hey is there any way to use a tempest device that runs on wifi with ur site? cuz I’m kinda just only using xtp because I think that’s the only one that can connect to my handy.
Does there exist documentation or a guide on how to implement it? I made a quick search, but didn’t find anything in particular, just the Patreon page of “xtp”.
