Yup, i tested using FW3.
As it still seems to work for FW2 devices the only explanation would be that they use different processing logic in their V1 APIs depending on the firmware.
However, i just wanted to provide some detail on what i could see at a glimpse, maybe it saves you a few minutes

your site is the only way i can get Handy to move. so thanks… all the players i tried to use for local(script player etc etc) refuse to make handy move at all. even though they recognize The Handy, the scripts and videos. show in the interface. no idea why. if any has suggestion pm me
Strange - I’m just using the standard handy API, same as everyone else 
I’m currently waist-deep in rebuilding the site from scratch with support for mobile and firmware V3 / API v2, and something holding me up is that the current sync API doesn’t work with the current firmware - a firmware update is currently being rolled out (eta 2-3 weeks for everyone to get it), so perhaps that’s causing the issue?
Have you tried HandyFeeling.com? It’s developed by SweetTech directly so if anything is going to work, it should be that.

what i need is offline use for bluetooth. script player recognize The Handy and the funscript but The Handy doesn’t move. tried using with Intiface Desktop/Scriptplayer but Intiface doesn’t even see the Handy. yoru site is the only way i can get The Handy to move. but i don’t want to do things online
Haha yeah I was just trying to troubleshoot why the other sites aren’t working. My site uses the online API, so doesn’t work offline… I’m not aware of any apps that use the bluetooth API right now.

Just a question: will it be possible to generate a funscript in the near future, just by inserting an audio and simultaneously being able to stroke a digital dildo? My mistress used to record audio`s for me and programmed a script for the audio by using a simple online Github tool. Unfortunately it is now gone and she is looking for an easy way to generate an accompanying script to her audio.
I tried inserting a blank mp4 with black screen and an audio track in it, but I don`t get any sound…

In terms of automatically generating funscripts from audio / virtual stroking - I have lots of ideas and designs for that sort of thing, but they’re all pretty major projects in and of themselves, so I don’t know if I’ll ever get around to them…
As for not getting audio with your mp4 - that’s quite strange. The video player definitely plays audio properly in all of my testing. Which web browser are you using? Just FYI, you can also use a .mp3 audio file directly without having to use a blank-screen mp4.

In the new beta version, what is the slide interval meant to do?
If you use the arrow keys / buttons to change the slide amount, slide interval determines how much it changes by.
e.g. if your slide is at 50% and slide interval is at 10%, hitting the up arrow key will set your slide to 60%. If the slide interval was 20%, then hitting the up arrow key would have set slide to 70% instead.

But what is “slide”? I know speed, stroke length. But what is slide?
That’s what def is explaining. The slide value adjusts how much those values change when you press your arrow keys.

Not exactly. “Slide” means stroke length, but it’s the new term that the Handy team use. Since stroke length kinda just implies ‘max stroke length’, but ‘slide’ means ‘what area along the full length of the device does the slider move’.
So “Stroke Length” might be 50%, but “Slide” can be "30% - 80%, if that makes sense.
In the API, step tends to refer to an incremental change of slide or stroke speed. So you would ‘step’ stroke speed up, increasing it by 10%, for instance.
Also, just a heads up everyone, the new funscript.io beta site is currently down due to some hosting bullshit that I’m trying to resolve. Hello.
I allow myself to post here because I have a problem with funscript.io
Like everyone else, I would like to be able to play my videos locally, without going through HandyFeeling (which has been working poorly lately).
But I open funscript.io, I enter my handy code, the manual and automatic modes work very well. But if I load an mp4 video and a funscript file, I get the message dowload handy but the screen remains black, no image is displayed and the handy does not start. The timing scrolls well, as if the video is playing, but nothing is displayed. I have tried with several browsers (chrome, edge, firefox) I get the same problem. I may have missed an operation, but after an hour of trying: failed.
Can you help me ?

This is probably because the video is h.265 encoded - these kinds of videos don’t play in web-based video players.
Does it work on handyfeeling.com? If so, then it would great if you can send me the video at [my username]@gmail.com so that I can investigate further, and if not, try re-encoding it with Handbrake.

I don’t think this is an encoding problem, I tried with about ten videos (some from PornHub and others uploaded here on eroscripts).
Otherwise yes on handyfeeling.com it works, except that their server gets stuck at times hence my desire to use funscript.io.
What is curious is that on funscript.io the automatic and manual modes work very well !! they pilot the handy without any problem.
On the other hand on Play Local Script my screen remains black, no video is displayed (despite the scrolling of the timing at the bottom) and the handy does not start, nothing happens, not a movement !!
The videos are on average more than 150 MB, impossible to send by email.
I will lean on Handbrake
