Whole reason I havent tested it with cable yet (which is suppose to have 15% more torque)
I read it too, very unfortunate. Shouldnāt happen for a device in that price range. I will be more careful with the port from now on.
so, I dont know if this is the ideal place to post this or not, but i figured i should let others know about whats going on.
so in early september i finally pulled the trigger on the handy 2 pro. this was still during the early bird preorder period. The estimated time of delivery was december or january.
i noticed that they had finally listed the product for preorder over on the actual website and not the kickstarter page but still had the early bird pricing. i wanted to check and see if they had any accessories listed for the handy 2 pro. i ended up ordering it on the site since it had the early bird pricing and all that expecting i would be looking at a 3 month wait for the device.
a few days ago i reached out to just get an update since i have not heard anything and we are quickly nearing the end of december. i was informed that becuse i orderd through the site. and not the kickstarter i will not be getting my handy 2 pro in one of the early bird batches, even though it was listed as early bird with early bird pricing. i had to of ordered it through the kickstarter page to get it delivered in that timeline. so now i find out i have yet another 3 months to wait for my product when it fully releases in march.
i am incredibly frustrated and dissapointed and am currently considering canceling the order.
i really just wanted to put this out there in case there was anyone else who could easily be in the exact same situation as me waiting paitently for their nice new toy. you might have a much longer wait ahead.
I think you misunderstood the Early Bird option on the offical webpage⦠it was not the same deal as Early Bird on kickstarter and when they started doing pre orders on the offical webpage the kickstarter campaign had already ended. On the handy store it was always stated that delivery should start in March 2026 and that what they said in the announcements as well.
The good thing is that you should get the best version of H2P because kickstarter backers are paid testers⦠A lot of changes was made from batch1 to batch2 and there will be more changes in batch3.
I did the exact same thing. I purchased the early bird special on the website thinking it was going to be in the December/January release. The wording for Early bird releasing on the blog updates made them seem one in the same. Sigh* Its looking like we have until March.
As I learn more and more about the Handy as a device and its different versions, Iām really tempted to buy one, but this thread is giving me doubts about which to choose and the timing of it.
To those who have tested both, would it be worth it to wait until public release of the Handy 2 in a couple of months or buy the 1 now? As I understand, the 2 has some design flaws and iām afraid to wait for a product to still have issues, idk if these will be present on the public release, for instance their website only mention there being one strap, where the review mentions that two would have been better and there being an extender to fix two of them, things like that.
My point being that it feels like the 2 will not be as ātried and testedā as the 1 currently is, and waiting will result in an overall disappointment
I have two H1ās. I bought a backup in case the first one died. The thing is, the first one never died. Almost 3 years old and Damned near bullet-proof as far as I can tell. And theyāre an even better value at the current marked down price.
I bought the early bird H2 Pro version from kickstarter and received it in early November, and once itās all set up, itās definitely an improved product over the original. I did have an issue after 2 months with that device, and after a quick back and forth with support, they sent a replacement (which I received 2 days later).
Will the second device have another issue? I donāt know, but I can tell you for certain, Handy/Ohdoki is ON THEIR GAME when it comes to support. They are quick to respond and highly accommodating when it come to repairs/replacements. I wish every company had their level of support.
So, bottom line. It really doesnāt matter too much which device you purchase since theyāre both damned good products with a great support team.
You can always grab an H1 and wait as the kinks get worked out, and youāll definitely have a better appreciation for a powerful battery operated device when you eventually grab the H2.
Understood, thanks for the in-depth response and the feedback!
I might just do that, that will let me experiment at less of a cost and wait for the time to settle on the H2.
Thanks again!
Edit: I ended up ordering a H1 from a local shop in my town, thanks again!
Any word about the availability of āTwo-strap systemā, and will backers get a discount?
Going from FunSR two-strap to Handy 2 Proās one-strap clip-on sure is sad..
What about the new desk mount? Iāve read that the original desk mount is terrible.
Iām quite disappointed with this device, for two reasons. The Sleeve Handy adapters are clearly inferior to those used by the Keon, and itās impossible to find adapters for them without a 3d printer. The hands-free system is tiny and of poor quality; mine is already broken (the screw thread just spins). I bought a larger one on Amazon, but the device is so heavy that itās not suitable. Add to that the fact that an improved version has already been released, and I received batch 1, and itās not good news.
Hello guys. Iām not sure I got it all right, feel free to correct me, but I feel like the motor sounds and volume are different between the models discussed in that post and the one shown in the Kickstarter launch video - https://youtu.be/chYzImFKcsc?t=581 The version in the video has a much quieter motor at full speed and a softer overall sound, while the one in the post is clearly stronger and significantly louder. Is this true, or is there little difference in sound between the 2 and 2 Pro models for everyday use? Iām just trying to figure out if itās worth the extra cost for simple fap hero funscripts and faptap videos use. Itāll be my first toy and I donāt think that [32-400 mm/s and 32-450 mm/s] speed difference is so much gamechangers when it comes to Edge rounds in Fap Hero videosā¦or is it?
Hello!
For the sounds: This could be because of how it was recorded. I just recorded it with my phone, while the video you linked to, was maybe filmed with a camera and / or maybe a different microphone. Sounds should be same for the Pro and Standard model.
Speed: Itās personal preference. I canāt give a direct comparison between the two models. For me, I would always pick the Pro version, because of the longer stroke length, more power and overlock feature. I think these three features makes it worth to pick the Pro. But some may itās not enough to justify the higher price. On paper the different between the stroke lengths isnāt that high, but it does definitely make a difference.
Hope this helps!
In that case, can you say that the sound irl is more similar to whatās shown in the video (i.e. quieter and softer), since thereās no āinterferenceā from regular equipment?
As for the motors, Iām asking because thisāll be my first ever purchase of a such toy at all, and Iām not entirely sure how thisāll affect the overall performance and feel of the device cuz rn Iām not planning to push it to its limit at all, but just enjoy in short sessions and donāt want to pay money(aka throwing them and expect something magical, haha) for features I will not feel at all. I have a 5.7" stick, so Iām not sure if H2 will work properly with such modest (in my opinion) size dick.
Yes, it is pretty similar. Depends of course on the speed and what sleeve you are using.
If itās your first purchase and you are not sure if you want / will use the extra features, go with the standard version probably. This will be enough for you and what you want to get out of it.
Idk if anyone is having this issue, but I connected to my wifi and the app. Updated it. Then left it to charge, but when it was done charging itās stuck on bluetooth mod and everytime connecting to the app it says connection timed out. Itās not to responding to power button or reconnect button TwT any suggestions?
Mine finally shipped and the hype immediately died when I clipped the strap onto the body. The attachment is pretty significantly crooked. Like probably rotated 15% off center if I had to guess. Itās not unusable for the normal sleeves but itāll be bad if I were to want to attach a Fleshlight in the future. It sucks because I waited so long for it to finally ship and I can only imagine how long it would take to ship back for repairs. Iām mostly just curious if anyone else has this problem or if I just got unlucky.
Is the connection set to Wi-Fi only in the app? Sometimes, for whatever reason, the Handy decides to connect via Bluetooth, even though you didnāt enabled it.
I heard some people had trouble with the click on adapter. Best thing would be to contact support and send them a photo of how it looks. They maybe can give you advice on how to fix it.
You need to apply more force when you attach the click-on-attachement to the H2.
It might feel like you will break the device but you wont⦠It will get easier to attach and remove the attachments after a few weeks.
Has anyone tested how much the vibration and fine-motion response has improved when playing complex funscripts compared to the H1? In another review( here ), a guy compared the FUNSR1 and H1 when it came to fine-motion movements, and it was visually obvious that while the FUNSR1 smoothly followed the pattern, the H1 missed a significant portion of the steps and simply twitched. As far as I understand, this issue was due to the Bluetooth Le. Is this also true for the H2Pro version? Is the FUNSR1 even worth considering, or is the H2Pro already better at this point?
Also found that topic. Does this have any bearing on how fanscripts work, or is there nothing to worry about as long as it doesnāt involve interactive games?
Yeah, its not actually clipped on. I did the exact same thing for several days with the angle problem to where it even popped off mid sesh. I then tried twisting it on harder until it was fully straight and it clacked into place. Immediately better all around but unclicking it is always anxiety driven since it feels hard to twist and unclick
