🔬 Handy 2 Pro: The Ultimate In-Depth Review - UPDATED 03.03.26

Yeah, its not actually clipped on. I did the exact same thing for several days with the angle problem to where it even popped off mid sesh. I then tried twisting it on harder until it was fully straight and it clacked into place. Immediately better all around but unclicking it is always anxiety driven since it feels hard to twist and unclick

Ah thank you much, that’s exactly what it was. It took much more force than I would have expected. Didn’t want to break the thing.

Ok. So I was guilty of the same thing. I thought I was going to break it if I twisted it hard. It did clip in though. Thanks for the advice!

A bit, yes. I am not using vibration / vibration scripts that much. But from what I tested, the Handy 2 (Pro) is much much smoother than the Handy 1 and much smoother than the FUNSR1.

FUNSR1 is a great device. In my opinion, I would always get the newest device on the market, which is the Handy 2. I don’t see any reason to buy an older device, when a new one is there. Sure, it costs more, but the Handy 2 standard version doesn’t cost that much more than a FUNSR1.

It’s either Handy 2 standard → more budget friendly.
Handy 2 Pro → more expensive, but a bit stronger and overlocked mode.
FUNSR PRO → very expensive, but full multi axis and very very powerful.

Handy 2 is a big upgrade over a Handy 1 and also over a FUNSR1. FUNSR1 2.0 has a twist function, this is worth to mention and to consider. If twist is something you really want, then the FUNSR1 2.0 might be right choice. But if not, either Handy 2 (Pro) or FUNSR PRO.

Handy 2 works well over Bluetooth (if this is what your question is). Much better than with Handy 1. I didn’t experience any delay when I tested the Handy 2 over Bluetooth mode with scripts.

I’m getting word from more than one person that recently purchased (less than two weeks ago) that they have already received theirs in the mail. Meanwhile I ordered back in October and still haven’t received mine. Anyone else hear about this?

We allocate the different orders before they are shipped from the factory. You’re probably having a different logistics track than the user you are describing. Global logistics is a nightmare:cry:
Rest assured, your order is just around the corner!

As nice as that sounds. The customer told me he bought it off the website two weeks ago and got it already and showed proof. He is in the US like me.
What was the point in purchasing back in October early if I could have just got it now immediately? This isn’t making much sense, respectfully.

They’ll tell you that you got the OC warranty and the better price. It’s a kicker for the people that supported them and still didn’t get theirs. Really really sucks to see. That’s something that shouldn’t be happening at all. I hope they know that. I love OhDoki, but ehh… never do a Kickstarter again guys.

yeah, they replied and said it’s a separate allocation at a cheaper price, but still. That doesn’t make much sense to me honestly. That new OSR Pro looks more promising already anyhow with all these bad reviews being given on the Handy 2. Should have just saved my money. lesson learned

Noted, and sorry! We are still learning and global logistics is hard…

:wrench: Handy 2 Addons – Review Inside the Review

Intro

Welcome back! :waving_hand:

This is a small review inside the main review, focusing on the new Handy 2 addons. I backed these during the Kickstarter campaign and received them on February 28th.

If I remember correctly, the original plan was to ship to backers around December, but there were delays — likely due to production adjustments.

Here I’ll cover:

  • The Third Party Adapter
  • The Long Sleeve Holder
  • A brief look at the Extender (prototype version, as I didn’t order the final retail unit)

This part has been added in the original review above under point 22. Updates.

Let’s jump in.

:counterclockwise_arrows_button: Third Party Adapter

Overview

The Third Party Adapter is designed specifically for third-party sleeves — especially Fleshlights.

Important:
You do not insert the Fleshlight with its original case.
Instead, you remove the sleeve from the case and insert it directly into the adapter. Then you snap the adapter onto the Handy 2.

It’s:

  • Very lightweight
  • Fully plastic (not 3D printed)
  • Closed-ended
  • Equipped with an airflow hole on the side

During Kickstarter, it cost $59 and is currently not available separately in the Handy shop — though I assume it will become available later.

Usage Experience

Once attached, it’s very stable.

Even during fast movements:

  • No wobbling
  • No slipping
  • Everything stays exactly where it should

However, there are a few important things to keep in mind:

  • The airflow hole does not allow suction control like a normal Fleshlight case.
  • Suction is present — but weaker and not adjustable.
  • I experienced some lube leakage from the airflow hole. This could have been due to using too much or a thinner lubricant, but it’s worth mentioning.

One more very important note:

:backhand_index_pointing_right: I strongly recommend using this in a handsfree setup.

Unfortunately, my desk mount broke, so I could only test in manual mode — and manual mode is simply not ideal here. Handsfree positioning makes a huge difference in overall experience.

Good news:
The extender is not needed here, since the adapter already sits far enough away from the device.

Cleaning

If used with an open-ended sleeve:

  • You’ll need to clean the inside of the adapter.
  • The material is easy to rinse.
  • You might not fully reach the deepest part, but letting it air dry works perfectly fine.

Overall: quick and uncomplicated.

Worth the Price?

This is where things get tricky.

At $59, I personally think it’s too expensive.

The quality is good.
It works exactly as intended.
It’s stable and reliable.

But for what it is, I’d personally see it more in the $30 range.

If you own a 3D printer, the official blueprints are available — which is an interesting alternative.

:star: Rating: 4 / 5

It’s a very good adapter and performs flawlessly.
The only reason I subtract a point is the price.

If you’re heavily invested in Fleshlights, it’s a strong addition.

:straight_ruler: The Long Sleeve Holder

This is essentially a longer version of the standard holder — and honestly, this one changes a lot.

In my original review, I mentioned that Onaholes were barely usable with the standard holder.

That issue is now solved.

Compatibility & Stability

With the Long Sleeve Holder:

  • Medium-sized Onaholes work perfectly.
  • Smaller ones work as well.
  • Very large ones (like Seductive Maid or Swimsuit Girl) are not recommended — they’re simply too big and won’t sit securely enough.

I tested it with:

Both worked flawlessly.

The Handy 2 (Pro) handled the weight without any problems.

Construction

The holder consists of:

  1. The main attachment piece (clicks onto the Handy 2)
  2. A secondary cap that goes over the sleeve

Personally, I don’t use the cap.

It feels a bit too small and too narrow in curve for medium-sized Onaholes. But the good news is: you don’t need it. Even without it, everything stays stable.

Important:

  • Straps are not included.
  • You’ll need to purchase straps separately.

I personally use the straps that came with my FUNSR devices — they’re sturdier and longer than the standard Handy strap.

Important: Extender Required

Without the extender, the holder still sits too close to the Handy 2.

That means:

  • The Onahole may rub against the device.
  • This can trigger movement errors.
  • Long-term friction could damage both device and Onahole.

With the extender:
No rubbing. No issues. Perfect spacing.

Price & Value

Currently available in the Handy store for:

  • 23.61€ / $29

Personally, I’d love to see it around 15€/$, but overall:

It’s sturdy, high quality, and genuinely expands the device’s usability.

:star: Rating: 5 / 5

Full score.

If you want to properly use medium-sized Onaholes with the Handy 2, this is essential.
It significantly elevates the device.

:plus: The Extender

Now let’s talk about the most controversial addon.

One of my biggest complaints in the original review was that the holder sits too close to the device.

That caused:

  • Rubbing against the Handy 2
  • Movement stops (device thinks something is blocking it)
  • Potential long-term wear
  • Slight discomfort during use

The extender solves all of this.

It creates proper spacing.
No rubbing.
No error stops.
Much smoother experience.

Important:
You can stack multiple extenders (confirmed by the Handy team), though I haven’t tested that myself.

The Frustrating Part

Price:

  • 21.63€ / $25 per extender

The Long Sleeve Holder + Extender equals:

23.61€ + 21.63€ = 45.24€
or
$29 + $25 = $54

That’s on top of the Handy 2 (Pro) price — just to properly use Onaholes.

And that’s where I struggle a bit.

The extender feels almost mandatory.
In my opinion, it should be standard with the Handy 2.

Even for normal sleeves, I’d recommend it.

The only exception is the Third Party Adapter, which already has proper spacing by design.

Build Quality

I received a prototype (likely 3D printed).
Quality was good and sturdy.

I expect the final retail version to be even better.

Functionally: great.
Price-wise: too high.

If it were around 10€/$, I’d call it perfectly fair.

:star: Rating: 3.5 / 5

It’s necessary.
It works exactly as intended.
But the pricing hurts.

:brain: Final Thoughts on the Addons

  • Third Party Adapter → Great, but overpriced
  • Long Sleeve Holder → Game changer for Onahole users
  • Extender → Necessary, but should’ve been standard

Overall, the addons significantly improve the Handy 2 ecosystem — but the combined cost is something buyers should definitely factor in.

Thanks for the review!

As the Third Party adapter isn’t available in the store yet, do you know if Fleshlights with their default case would mount securely with the extended adapter?

You are welcome and thank you for reading!
No, there is no way to mount the Fleshlight with the original Fleshlight case to the Handy 2 currently. You have to insert the Fleshlight sleeve into the Handy 2 Third Party Adapter in order to use it.

They did because it’s much lighter. The Fleshlight case itself is already quite heavy. Case + insert makes it more heavy, meaning it could reduce stroking power.

Here are the numbers:

Fleshlight case itself: 158g
Fleshlight with insert: 562g

Handy 2 Third Party Adapter itself: 87g
Handy 2 Third Party Adapter with insert: 491g

As you can see, the Handy 2 Third Party Adapter is much lighter than the Fleshlight case. There is an almost ~70g difference between a Fleshlight and the Handy 2 Third Party Adapter with Fleshlight sleeve. The design is pretty smart because of it. The lighter weight, as mentioned, allows for smoother operation. It does come at a cost of suction control though.

Thank you for checking out the review :slightly_smiling_face:

Regarding the price: I absolutely understand setting the price in that range and I don’t think the commercial team set it randomly, but made the calculation so it makes sense. There are many factors we as consumers have no idea of. Many things run in the background, supply and demand chains, shipping etc. Seeing prices in general rise, I see and think the prices are calculated so you make enough plus. And that’s what we as costumers also want. We don’t want a company to undersell their products, just so we have cheap products. We don’t benefit if a company sells at a loss, because long term, it risks a company of becoming bankrupt. We want a company to be healthy, to earn money so we get more products in the future.

My criticism was not meant in a “they rip you off” way, but more in a “I’d like to see the products a little cheaper, so they feel more approachable.”

Thank you again for reading! I’ll post the review on Reddit soon as well :slightly_smiling_face:

Are there still problems with charging?
Can i keep the Handy 2 Pro just plugged into the power connection (electricity) like The Handy 1?

I can’t wait for my Handy 2! I ordered mine back in November 2025. I’m reading reddit posts that people who just ordered the handy 2 recently are getting priority over Pre-Orders. HOW ODD. but then again I would wait because there have been reports of people getting their device and works for only 2 uses. I’m confused. Didn’t they get backed 1 million dollars?

I would rather get the handy 2 pro wired in than have that huge battery. I could take it apart just like I did with the Kirro Keon and solder wires to an a/c adapter. Take out the battery for less weight. I know it voids warranty but for one small mod = easier convenience.

I’m pretty sure they have the same batch as us pre-orderers (EU pre-order from September, still haven’t received it yet, not even a shipping notification), but if there are problems that can’t be resolved by the user, it should be expected that Ohdoki sends out replacement units immediately, if they want to retain at least some of the trust of the customers.

I have no problems using it that way sofar…but I’m only using it for three weeks now.

It’s not good for the battery long term, but that’s what I do.
