HereSphere VR Video Player for Quest 2/Pro/3 supports Handy, Keon, Launch and Passthrough

you can setup a “kill switch” as a hotkey in MFP.

I run several different “feel profiles” for edging via their hotkeys. Intense, slow, travel locked to base of my dick, travel locked to the tip of my dick, and 100% kill. Super flexible and ULTRA useful.

Ah thanks for the tip! But is this something I can do via other software? I’m very much away from my PC and the only software I’m directly interacting with at the time is Heresphere

not that I know of, but I just use a spare IR remote paired with a Flirc receiver to trigger the hotkeys. It would work within line of sight. I’m sure you could do the same with a RF/wifi remote and get even better range.

Ah yeah thanks, or maybe an Xbox controller? I don’t actually have wifi/bluetooth on my PC though so I’d need an adapter too. Worth bearing in mind, cheers :+1: :+1:

I think the easiest option for users would be to include controls directly into heresphere.
If i have the handy in one hand and the oculus controller in the other, i don’t want to get another controller to fumble blindly for.
Additionally i would like to see some form of script randomiser or some presets in heresphere. That way you could fill gaps in scripts by changing to a preset or even better use it for videos that dont have scripts.
Having said that, i have no idea, if it is possible to include that into heresphere.

Also love the player, best Vr player, i have ever used.I’ll buy it in the next couple days :grinning:

Can you load up funscripts and videos in HereSphere using macOS?

Using SMB file sharing, you can stream videos and funscripts (for the Handy) from your Mac to HereSphere on the Quest 2. You can also use XBVR, which will set up an http server on your Mac, which you can access in HereSphere. I’d recommend using XBVR over SMB, since it’s a little faster and provides thumbnails and tags. A free demo is available, so you can test to see if it works well on your system.

Is there a way to watch content from VirtualRealPorn in HereSphere AND connect to an interactive? I can watch the videos fine by clicking the download link in Heresphere but the process of interactives on VRP is about the most confusing setup ever (thanks a lot Kiiroo).

ok setup XBVR and installed HereSphere. how to add the server to HereSphere?

Launch the xbvr UI on your mac (you can also access it by typing in http://127.0.0.1:9999 in your web browser). Go to the options, find the DeoVR interface, make sure it’s enabled, and then make a note of the IP address used for the DeoVR interface. It probably starts with http://192. Input that address into the HereSphere web browser. After the page loads, press the icon that looks like a play button on top of 4 tiles to the left of the url input box.

Got it, so i’m playing it from the browser? And does the video name have to match the script?

Sort of, you’re streaming the videos through http, and the web UI is using the HereSphere API. You’ll need to make sure the script is matched to the scene in the XBVR UI on your Mac. It doesn’t need to be the exact same name as the video if you’re using XBVR, though it probably helps XBVR recognize the script belongs to the video.

I’m missing something. web browser takes me to XBVR. I see the library in the “scenes” section in XBVR. But cant figure our how to play through HereSphere. I tapped the icon that looks a play button 4 tiles. It just says no videos were found try changing the search criteria

Which version of XBVR and HereSphere are you using? With XBVR 0.3.29, can you make sure the “Player integration” toggle is enabled in the XBVR UI under the Options → Players menu? And make sure the Authentication toggle is disabled, else you’ll need to enter in your login info in HereSphere. Also, have you matched the videos to the scenes? If not, they might be listed under the “Unmatched” list. You can switch to that list at the top of the HereSphere web API view.

Yes, 0.3.29. Got it to work. The player integration was enabled but i toggled off then on and it worked!
Thanks for the help

Hi, is there any chance you’d be able to add playback of certain other legacy media filetypes, like wmv and avi? A lot of my old adult stuff is in those formats and it would be a huge pain to have to convert them.

Also, wondered if you’d seen my post 8 days ago about the ‘script killswitch’ idea? A bit like the ‘script active’ button on SLR? But without disrupting the connection to external software (such as, in my case, MFP) when script stopped?

The Quest 2 version of HereSphere uses ExoPlayer, which doesn’t support wmv or avi. Doesn’t look like Google is going to add support for it. Some community members were working on implementing avi, but it seems to have been left in an incomplete state. If you have a PC, you could try using stash app, which I think can transcode the videos on the fly. There’s a stash-vr app that uses the HereSphere web API, so HereSphere can play the transcoded videos.

I’ll look into adding more script playback features when I have the time. It might be a little tricky making the features work with both the timestamp server and native funscript playback.

Ah thanks man, I’ll check out stash app, and also look out for any script playback updates. Loving the app overall

any updates on the dlna function to be activated on the app ?

What are your plans for privacy with this app? As it is right now, even without anything playing, as soon as someone opens the app it says, “POOOOOOORRRRNNNNN!!!” There’s porn in the web browsers. There’s porn in the playlists. There’s porn in all of the folder directories. For God’s sake there’s porn everywhere!

As much as I hate to say it, DEOVR got it right when it comes to privacy. Open up the app and it’s a streaming VR video player with a screen for selecting streaming VR videos kind of like youtube. If you want to use it for porn, just type in the web address for that website we all know and some of us love. What’s nice about this is that privacy doesn’t require password protecting the app (which tells everyone this is my porn app), nor does it require password protecting a section of the app (which tells everyone this is the porn section of my porn app).

Do you have any ideas for this?
