Just want to inform the scipt creators here

I’ve known about this site for quite some time.
On one hand, i think it brings more value to scripting as a whole, as it gives users (especially mobile) easy access to use scripts from this site.
On the other, not asking for permission is kinda bad.

But overall im happy people get to enjoy my scripts, and would only ask to get credited :relaxed:
Because if scripting isnt about sharing, i dont know what its about.

At first I saw the site and thought it was a cool concept for mobile users, and I was happy seeing my first script on there especially since I just started scripting; however, now that I read through this thread I noticed I really didnt get credited for making the script. It was cool thinking people would enjoy my piece since I put effort into it, but now I feel kind of discouraged hopefully it gets fixed

I actually refreshed and saw the updated credit, thank you!!

I’m a relatively new scripter yet a couple of my scripts are on there.

I don’t mind my content being on as long as I’m credited in some way and as long as the person who uploaded the content doesn’t see a penny of ad revenue for my hours of work  no I’m not bitter that someone is posting my work under their name, not one bit

But in some cases, could we also get a shout-out to the video content creator too? I normally link the original content creator when I post on Eroscripts and it wouldn’t sit right with me if they weren’t credited in some way either.

Few recommendations, on how to continue this case:

  • Make a new topic, present your project, ask what people think about it, ask if creators are ok, if their scripts get uploaded there. See what the general response is on that project.
  • If general response is fine, best thing you could do in my opinion is, wipe the site and start from scratch.
  • Message the scripters via PM, ask them for permission, if a scripter didn’t already gave their ok in the thread.
  • Don’t have random people upload videos / script to the site. Pick people by hand, let these help you upload the stuff. There are probably some people here, who would be happy to help you.
  • Make sure everything has proper names (no videos with random names)
  • Make sure everything has proper credits (link to the original EroScript thread AND link to the scripters Portofolio if exists.
  • Make sure to also link to the original video source as well.
  • An additional bonus: Make a “creators” tab like ScriptAxis has, where you list every creator and where all their scripted videos are listed.

I like the overall idea of that site. Makes stuff so much easier and you can just simply try a script and don’t have to go through the hassle downloading everything and setting everything up. What only bothers me, that I didn’t get ask, if it’s ok to use my scripts and that there is no credit at all.

If these criteria’s above are fulfilled, I’d be glad to link to your site in every future script release. Like I said, it’s a great concept, makes it easy to use scripts and also gives another great overview. But the current state is a mess.

I know it’s a lot of work, but I think you will find a lot of help here, if you openly talk about it and present your intentions with your project. I hope to see something good coming out of it.

A big thought to the scripters here, working for free or paid for. Thanks for making all of this. Obviously shocked by this new.

This I can stand behind, and yes I agree that it’s a great idea with the site for new users but the way it’s done is not ok in any way!!!
I’m sure many of us scriptors are happy that their hard work is being used for it’s intended purpose, but with the credits that should follow it.
I don’t mind my work being posted elsewhere with the correct credit and permission.

@basicgirl I asked you to delete my script, not give me credit and keep the script on the site.
As Slibowitz said, start over and ask for permissions before posting, or take down the site and go through the 515 videos there and give credit to them before opening again.
In my opinion starting over is faster and easier with permissions from creators.

As a last thing, you and the other up loaders from here could try that heart shaped icon in the end of all the post that you are using.

This is the kind of discourse we are looking for here. Thank you @Slibowitz and I agree.

Thank you to everyone else who helped us reach this point.

I will close the thread once things get moving in the other post.

What post is that ? I can’t seem to find it.

It is up to @basicgirl to create the thread if that is the route they choose to go.

Wow, just came across this fire.
As a fellow creator, I totally understand how you guys feel. We spend a lot of time and energy doing what we do and to have somebody come along and profit off of it well, sucks. But something to keep in mind fellas and I’m sure some of you are aware of this. We are the mom and pop store, and it is only a matter of time until the corporations come and shut us down. One day technology and the porn industry will catch up. And scripted videos will be the new section included in your Reality Kings membership. So, what do we do? Do we just keep on going knowing that our stuff will be pirated? Do we try to create our own pay site? Do we just give up and stop posting our scripts? I guess that’s a decision each of us will have to make on our own, but may I present you another option? Something that I thought of a some time ago. What if as scripters, we offer our services to the independent performers out there? The target sites would be manyvids and onlyfans. We offer our scripting services which they can then sell alongside their content. I’m not sure how the payments will work out. We take a lump sum or a percentage of each sale. Obviously this would need to be worked out with the sites executives, but in the end it’s a way to expand the profit margin.
I would really love to hear you guys input on this. I truly believe this is something that could work. You have all these people on the adult sites using their talents, then you have all of us with our talents. Why the hell shouldn’t we team up?

Actually, I didn’t want to write anything more about it, but I can’t believe the offered solutions here. I want to clearify things that are nogo’s for maybe future projects.

What went wrong on this project:

  • Always inform the stakeholders before you go online wth hugh impact stuff or with other peoples creation. The stakeholders here at bukkake.moe are the script creators.
  • If you let people post content that are not created by themselves is a big mistake and always went to a negative site. You always need a moderation gate for postings on such site else you can’t control what people sharing.
  • Don’t overlook the side effects. For example on this mess here. Your site provides copyright abuse content because of the lack of moderation and open access. If you credit the script creator and link to eroscripts, those who are specifically looking for copyright violations are lured directly to eroscripts. Video publisher are not amused about that. Guess what happens? Big Impact to the shared material here.
  • A lot of creators here are not happy with the lack of feedback and recognition. Do you really think that it will be better if you don’t have to visit eroscripts for the scripts anymore
  • If you want to offer toy sync on your website, don’t provide the data over a file system, save the data into a database and make it unavailable for direct download.
  • Sometimes don’t give a f*** about people want. Sure it is super easy if you don’t need to download the script and video and manage the file system, but so what. It takes around 1 min actual work to do that. You sit down and jerk 45 minutes and don’t have the time to prepare it all? Common… Those user who complain about it should get SLR and pay for it. Some people here should be happy enough that a few guys create such an amount of scripts for free or ridiculously little money.

As a new user to this site, I’d be totally OK with a small one-time-fee to join. This place is the best resource for these scripts.

Whoah Just OMG! What a forum thread!

I am new here as well. Honing my scripting lately (insecure that my scripts won’t live up to others tbh)

However, I would not mind a small fee (one time or even yearly; $1/year is worth it to me) as well if it can help combat theft of other peoples work.

I feel that you cant argue copyright infringement while links on here exists via mega, torrent, etc.

I don’t want to point fingers and say so and so. but you yourself have linked to pirated content and on the content of permission I don’t know if you have permission to make paid scripts of other peoples videos.

That’s all I’m saying for now, I will be posting a project post once I’ve added more features to help creators get credit.

Nice whataboutism. Sharing copyrighted videos on here is a different issue that doesn’t subtract from the issue of taking people’s scripts, that take hours to make, without their permission.

Its a good way to discourage script creators from giving their work away for free or put creators off all together, remember that scripting is a niche and we need to support script creators in every way that we can.

Perhaps Eroscripts needs a general usage license that creators can opt in to. Could even have a radio button group selection for license type when posting a script.

Not sure what the license types would be maybe at the very least a Creative Commons — Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International — CC BY-NC-ND 4.0

Torrents have never been allowed on this site and I have never seen torrents ever be posted here.

Megas have been a problem but MANY free script creators like @torgo313 or @Zalunda explicitly do not allow free video links or Megas. Take a look at recent posts, the mods/user base actually take down/flag people linking 3rd party sites. A huge difference on Euroscript it is actively being moderated by the team and the user base.

@mADsCRIPTS has video links to studio link or pornhub which the creator (aka pornstar) profits from pornhub advertising + a bump to the PH algorithm. This is NOT piracy but in fact redirecting traffic to the actress. Also, you have no idea the amount of time he puts into posting studio links on other people posts as well.

You DO NOT need permission to script a video. This is a form of free speech and expression of the scripter. The script itself does nothing to take away sales or profit from the original creator of the video or use anything from the video. It actually does the opposite and increases profit for the video creator.

It would be like asking permission to paint a picture based on music someone played. We aren’t making a video to replace their work, or a product that someone could confuse with their video. A text file =/= a porn video.
