Realsync payment

Yeah, coinbase is great due to the wide country support. Just wish I could find something where customers could just make purchases without the initial waiting period.

Hey @Evernessince,

I have, and use Coinbase pro. This thread, and the fees I’m referring to, are in reference to making bitcoin payments to realsync. :+1:

That is very abnormal. For example, if I try and start a transaction right now here is the cost for me:

image

The fee equates to $2.45. It doesn’t increase for larger transactions either.

Can you try this out on your end? (you don’t have to finish the transaction or even have bitcoin in your account to test this). Simply add an item to your cart on realsync, go to checkout. Take the wallet address given and put it into coinbase then add the amount of bitcoin requested from RealSync. That should give you the network fee.

Where is that wallet? I looked at both CoinSpot & Binance, both were simple and cheap to buy coins but when I tried to send them to another wallet the fees were huge.

In comparison when I got some coins into a Blue Wallet the fees to send were less than a cent (but obviously it’s just a wallet not a marketplace so no way to buy coins.

That’s coinbase pro from the image in my last message.

You can actually buy bitcoin / bitcoin lightning from inside bluewallet. It does require KYC though and the fees are just ok.

Buy Realsync credits with the value tied to USD.
Buy with crypto other than Bitcoin (remember the crash? Pepperidge farms remembers and so do many defunct bitcoin exchanges).
Therefore, Realsync gets all the money until a Customer buy a script with their credits and then RS pays the creators.

OR

Signup for an account to the many tip-jars monetization websites like Patreon and pull their API to assign automatically Credits to User accounts in Realsync. Really, that’s the most viable and win-win situation for both RS and it’s customers. If i was competent enough to create an alternative to RS using that method, i’d pull the rug right under ya and count my money made from low fee commissions.

Hey guys we just added litecoin support to realsync. It’s very new so let me know if you run into any trouble. Super low fees and faster than bitcoin. Our test runs went well.

Just made a purchase using litecoin, the transaction got confirmed within a few minutes and almost no transaction fee. Much better experience than bitcoin. Thanks for adding it!

Good to hear! Definitely great to see more purchases and seems going the LTC route is miles better solution than BTC

Please guys give it a try - Fees are extremely low to nonexistent, super fast transactions and download link fulfilment time, and even instant no waiting method is negligible fees as well!

Check out the updated guide here!

Thank you for sharing your experience, it’s a huge help to us!

Yeah, I’m seeing fees as low as a 7/100th of a single US cent.

Thank you for all the effort you guys put into this! Always hoped there would be paypal-option for realsync some day but…ok its not your fault and finally I give in to temptation (damn, so many great scripts I couldnt have otherwise!) and try bitcoin.

Im a real noob when it comes to cryptocurrency. I need to buy BTC as well as LTC. Can I use “Blue Wallet” for both? Or one wallet for each currency?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks very much @ITO_Snake

Thanks for giving crypto a chance - if you dont want to, you dont actually need to buy BTC with this new method
You can just buy LTC directly from Coinbase (Pro recommended), and then pay directly from Coinbase, so you dont even need to use Bluewallet now

Hope that makes sense?

This is tips directly from Realsync guide: Litecoin setup guide – RealSync

" a) Create a Coinbase Account. You can do so here. Follow the instructions on screen to create your account.

b) When logged into the coinbase home page, click Buy Crypto (middle-right). Follow the steps on screen to verify your account.

c) Click on your profile picture at the top right hand side then “Settings”. On that new page click “Payment Methods” (top-middle). Click “Link a New Account” (Top-right) then “Debit Card”. Follow the on screen instructions.

d) Last step is to buy the Litecoin. From the Coinbase homepage when logged in click “Buy / Sell” (Top-right). Under Buy click “Litecoin”. Enter in the amount of USD you wish to spend plus a little extra to cover fees (0.04 to 0.10 USD for larger amounts) and click “Buy Litecoin”

That’s it. Litecoin should be in your account instantly! Finish the last two easy steps of the guide here."

Great guideline @Realcumber  Thanks to you, Im now in the verification process for Coinbase Pro. Will send feedback when the first purchase on realsync has happened.

The reason I wanted LTC as well as BTC is
a. payment on realsync and
b. to buy on this plattform (Trending VR Adult Movies | GameLink) all the videos SLR sadly dont have to offer. I dont own a credit card, so BTC is the only payment method left for me

If anyone here know another site where I can buy (not stream!) single VR videos without a subscription - please tell me. But till then I will try to cover this problem with Coinbase Pro.

Cheers to all of you in this great community!

what was the reason for the account suspension on paypal? how did they know its adult content themed?

Paypal doesn’t allow digital adult content. They have a risk assessment team that goes through each merchant and ensures they are following the ToS.

I’m a bit confused about this. Many adult VR sites have Paypal through Epoch as a payment option and Paypal only mentions that you may not use their service for “certain sexually oriented materials or services” in their acceptable use policy. Even BDSM/FemDom sites have the option to use Epoch/Paypal. How can scripts be such an issue for Paypal compared to that? I’m not criticizing your decision, I’m just curious since all this about crypto currency pops up here every now and then and it is a hassle for first time buyers compared to Paypal. I know that Epoch charge quite a hefty processing fee, but I’m pretty sure people would pay the extra 15% to be able to use Paypal, at least I would.

From Paypal’s own Terms of Service:

https://www.paypal.com/us/smarthelp/article/what-is-paypal’s-policy-on-transactions-that-involve-sexually-oriented-goods-and-services-faq569

We permit U.S.-only transactions for certain sexually oriented physical goods that are physically delivered to the customer. Videos, DVDs, and magazines are examples of physical goods. (We don’t allow transactions for such goods outside the U.S.)

We don’t permit PayPal account holders to buy or sell:

  • Sexually oriented digital goods or content delivered through a digital medium. Downloadable pictures or videos and website subscriptions are examples of digital goods.
  • Sexually oriented goods or services that involve, or appear to involve, minors.
  • Services whose purpose is to facilitate meetings for sexually oriented activities.

Sexual preferences and viewpoints aren’t factors in determining what our policy prohibits.

In deciding what sexually oriented goods and services to allow, we consider:

  • What regulations or restrictions are placed on the purchase or sale of the product.
  • How the product is classified by a recognized ratings board.
  • Whether the product describes or depicts sexual conduct in a patently offensive way.
  • The dominant theme of the product material or website.
  • The literary, artistic, political, or scientific value of the product.
  • Potential medicinal or educational uses for the product.
  • The product’s impact on the safety of our customers.

Epoch is probably just some middle company, so you pay for accounting services instead of porn services to trick the law. Or something like that. But there is still a lot of pornsites that don’t allow paypal purchases even through Epoch so it’s either that they don’t want to share income or it’s something sketchy and paypal can at some point freeze those money.

As Husky pointed out, Epoch is a middle man. Those sites doesn’t have paypal as a payment processor, they have EPOCH. Speaking on EPOCH, there are multiple reasons we can’t use EPOCH on RealSync:

  1. They don’t support marketplaces. Most payment processors consider this 3rd party processing which adds significant risk (according to them). Even with high risk payment processors, we have been denied due to the combined risk.
  2. They only support subscription services. Their retail support is poor at best
  3. They don’t have integrations with our platform.

I believe DLSite also has paypal directly but only to buy points. Typically though that’d be against their rules but PayPal does make exceptions for larger companies. After all, steam too has digital adult content now. Obviously though, we are smaller than all these guys.

OK, then I understand. Thanks for the clarification!
