Reupload please

Can’t you just host the builds somewhere more permanent? At the very least the most recent stable build should be always available. You can also embed the build artifacts into your github releases, just edit the release post to include them directly or as a link to a permanent archive. It seems pointless to keep running a build every month when the prev artifact expires. Just my .02

I’ve been meaning to release a new “stable” build for a while now, but two things have been keeping me from doing so:

  • The Handy API v2 (which I will not finish considering v1 is still working perfectly and v3 is already in the works apparently)
  • Absolutely ZERO feedback on “beta” features, often not even by the people that requested them

Version 1.2.1 is now the same as the current beta-build:

New Update for Handy FW4:

Where is the best place to give feedback?

If it is regarding the FW4 integration then in the topic linked above

Hi to all.

Thank you for Scriptplayer, awesome peace of software.

I found s small bug so if I can report it here? Not in the mood for making GitHub account.

When using keyboard shortcut for IncreseMaxSpeed, OSD is showing
“Min speed: 0”,
but the shortcut is working and max speed increases.

Same behavior when increasing speed with sdcli

Tried on latest stable release and latest beta.

Another reupload would be awesome

Got too annoying to do that every month, so I just uploaded 1.2.2 as a pre-release:

(Requires Handy FW4 - FW3 will NOT work)

Hi,

I’m using the Handy in ScriptPlayer ONLY via Bluetooth (and Intiface Central) → does it even matter which firmware I have on the Handy? Or do I still need to upgrade to FW4 when using the latest pre-release version 1.2.2?

No, that shouldn’t make a difference

Today the API response changed back to what it was, breaking yesterdays fix … I undid it again in version 1.2.3.464

Good time of day. Please tell me, in ScriptPlayer it was possible to connect to handy locally, via ip and port. These settings are now gone. Have you moved them to another location? How to use them? It seems that my ISP has started blocking the handy’s attempt to connect to the server, so all I have left is a local setup. I tried transferring scripts via Bluetooth, but it didn’t work out well. Is there any way to do everything locally?

Unfortunately not - with the new API and Firmware the Handy can no longer use scripts hosted locally, as they are now streamed over the Handy servers.
