Here’s the issue I have with the way this whole thing is working. SLR wants us to be the testers on these AI generated scripts, but still wants us to pay for a subscription or buy the scripts individually. I understand there’s a business aspect here but locking everything behind a hard paywall says to me that their only concern is to make money off of it and not to actually advance the technology. The script download limit still applies for subscribers and the individual scripts cost just as much as hand made scripts (not to mention still having to acquire the video). I’m not saying give everything away for free but if the goal is to actually improve the AI through user testing some middle ground should be reached.
If it’s like the last tool, you will host it yourself, am I right? If so, sad. If you release it into the wild, different story.
100% this. I appreciate the effort and constant advancement of the models, but it is not ready for release as a paid option. Nowhere near the level where it should be for a paid option.
This, exactly. I’ve already tried the first few generations of their AI scripts, including the most recent ones. I know they are not very high quality, and certainly not comparable to those scripted by hand. I could give great technical feedback, but that would require me being able to look at the script in script editor, and I am not going to waste one of my subscription downloads to essentially do SLR’s work for them. If it were free to download - yeah, I probably would look hard at it and provide feedback because I am interested in having good scripts faster. Unfortunately, SLR’s penchant for locking everything behind a paywall, forcing you to use their tech (DeoVR is still awful), and monetizing everything possible fits the description of SLR eating itself.
If I think of it charitably, I suppose that the issue is that @doublevr is really, really interested in the tech side (which is arguably cool and forward thinking), but has a huge blind spot when it comes to usability, what customers want, and realizing that even cool innovations can make people angry when delivered in an inconsiderate fashion.
ScriptAI downloads are being unlocked atm. Will come with unlimited downloads for Premium Scripts users. Dev team is finalizing things.
There are no limits for Sex Toy Scripts VR Porn Videos | SexLikeReal downloads any more. All Scripts Premium access users have full access to it.
@Kieshi please update OP.
If you feel negativity for this effort, I think that’s because a community of scripters would prefer the resources were going towards making scripting a viable career instead of trying to cut out scripters entirely. It is extremely unlikely that an algorithm will be able to do this correctly for a significant percentage of videos. Changes to fix it for one video will break it for another, and the resources spent on this path will unfortunately probably be wasted rewarding people making you unrealistic promises instead of quality scripts.
Of course I don’t. A single particularly negative user doesn’t make it for all.
Otherwise SLR has been proven to be super human centric. We run so many incentives at a time for anyone to build scripting career What does it take to get you scripting?
Your negativity and related discussion is simply absurd
Awesome, just a cursory review of the existing scripts indicates a strange bias for activity (unreviewed scripts don’t seem to have any black in them), what’s up with that? Going to do a more thorough comparison of the Realcumber vs ScriptAi now that the AI script is freely available but at a glance, it misses the peaks and it misses the lows but broadly gets the sentiment whilst missing the details.
Know what folks
You don’t like AI scripts? Go grab one, edit it, make it cool, upload on SexLikeReal, get it default for the video and get paid every time it’s used
Weirdly I kinda agree with both sides of the argument.
On the one hand Doublevr has listened to all of the feedback and made the changes asked for. There clearly marked as AI. There still posting handmade scripts of a high quality as well. Now there included in your sub to try and edit.
However even with all that said there is going to be a backlash against AI that is understandable. You only have to see the impact it is starting to have in other forms of media like AI art, AI music and chat GPT.
Other sites are clearly using AI (or terrible scripters) for their scripts and not being as upfront about it which is worse. Of course the downside of engaging with a community like Double vr and handyalexander do is you end up being the point of contact for complaints about the idea and not just your own implementation.
So far the discourse hasnt got to the depths that it has in the past but still best to remember polite feedback is more likely to get a result than assuming bad intentions. And hey at least it’s not crypto.
I agree that other sites have way worse scripts… But those sites are also not shill posting on this forum with the intent of selling subscriptions.
There needs to be a balance and focus on community. Pushing us en masse to pay to be beta testers is not the way to win support. I do like how they granted @Chris_Leo a script to test/review (bummer he had to go find the video himself though). There needs to be more of that bi-directional participation if SLR wants to avoid some of the negative sentiment. If that sentiment is acceptable to them (there will always be haters), that’s all good too.
Personally, I’m keeping an eye on this (and will continue to purchase AI scripts here and there to test) to help new members to the community have a clear view of the state of the quality of AI scripts at SLR that isn’t being clearly represented by them…
All of this being said - I really like their commitment to improving the AI scripts, revising, and taking feedback to incorporate into the model. Just should not be behind a paywall until it is of better quality. There also needs to be a “crafted” filter at SLR. I know they mentioned they’re working on it, but they seemed to have no problem creating an “AI” filter…
Because money
Can I ask what you are referring to by unreviewed scripts? We review every single script, but we don’t make any changes to it.
We give our honest review to management, including our recommendations, and they then decide what to publish.
How are we reviewers unbiased? We are script sellers on SLR ourselves.
Actually come to think of it, we would be more inclined to be biased against AI scripts.
That’s the plan, starting with filtering out the high frequency jitter during segments that should be idle. As for reviewed, the older scripts seem to capture idle stretches correctly, but the newer ones have the blue jitter. You guys haven’t noticed that? I had assumed “reviewed” on the script name meant it had been fine tuned, my bad.
Good change on separating the AI scripts from the monthly download limit!
And that’s why you will not succeed. You just cannot resist insulting people who are trying to help you because they disagree with you. Your responses are what it would be like if Donald Trump owned a porn site.
Why is it that nearly all of your AI scripted scenes have some commentary by customers and other scripters cautioning people about how bad they are? What exactly is the review process? Is it simply, “OK, this won’t kill someone?”
You have pointed out in the SLR forum that many of the AI-generated scripts that were released would not have passed quality control had they been submitted by humans. Yet, SLR released them and charged people money for them! How is that anything but scummy business practice?
You guys seem to think we are idiots.
