Hi there well this thing its kinda akward to say but i want to ask it neverthenless…
About a couple days ago i got some “bad results” on a test i do in my dick (not related to the sleeves or the usage of the handy or onas) so i need to take some pills till im healthy…
Because im not the usual guy who like to wait till im cured so i can “release” all the things inside of me im like in the “wondering” to know if i put a condom in my dick plus i use one of my handy sleeves the material of the condom may damage the sleeve (i will lube it really well so the friction will go to a minimum) or its not a problem to use condoms with handy sleeves??
Im asking that because the other day i saw a really cool “addition” to your handy sleeves with pantyhooses and i don’t know if its “safe” for my sleeves to use it…
TLDR: I don’t want to put my dick in more exposure that i got but i want to use the handy and the “bacterias” that still are in the ona despite i clean the sleeves everyday with soap + water + let it dry with air + drysticks are making me worried… If i use a condom on my dick does the sleeves may get damaged?
Thanks for your replys and please stick to the answer i don’t want to talk about the other thing that happen because i “deserve it”.
If an onahole or sleeve is infected with stuff then it’s best to chuck it and purchase a new one as condoms only protect what they cover. They don’t protect what they don’t like the base of your penis where your pubic hair is, where if you get nasty stuff there and then accidentally wipe it into your mouth or on your penis during clean up.
Congrats you got another dose of that infection.
Condoms are fairly strong and stretchy as long as nothing to pointy is pressured against them. I don’t believe an any handy branded sleeve has that as it would be something that would feel like it’s scratching on your penis at the very least.
Best use of an condom in this scenario is to wear a condom use a different sleeve/onahole (presuming the infection isn’t at your balls or base of your penis) or even your hand with some lube and yank the condom off into the bin before taking baby wet wipes to clean your self up, make sure to use anti-bacterial sanitiser and then use soap to wash you hands. That way you contain any infection your put out and kill anything that gets on your hands during the clean up. (hopefully before you rub your eyes or mouth)
TLDR: It is best to wait till your recovered though if you just want release then watch something arousing for a while and you should end up being a quick shot. Condom shouldn’t break unless your putting your penis in something stabby.
My somewhat similar experience (not infection)
My only similar experience has been with trying sounding where I ended up hurt and man those following days of it hurt hard to pee as it felt like I was reopening the wound and tossing salt on it. It was enough so that I tried to limit pee’ing as much as possible and try to slowly let it out. It took 2 weeks roughly to fully heal but only 1 week for my penis to decide that it was healed enough for some action.
So I took the leap for it as I wanted it too alongside thinking it was fine due to getting somewhat erect with no pain and…ow pain, nope. The movement or tensing just caused the same pain again. So had to tough it out until I could pee fine and then a few days, it was not worth at all the first minute or two of action I got.
You must have some extreme humidity for onaholes to develop bacteria even after cleaning them that thoroughly. I keep my room cool all year, but when I went on a trip and had the AC off, some of the stuff started to get bad if it wasn’t well-cleaned beforehand. In cooler lower humidity areas, you can pretty much just clean whenever you get the chance as long as you don’t cum inside and not have too many issues, unless it’s the Syncbot sleeve honestly, which have been more prone to going bad from bacteria.
I would check your air and humidity first and maybe start over with some new sleeves, because the handy sleeves have been very resistant to getting bacteria for me.
I’m kinda lazy so I would just reuse the lube from the days before if I don’t have time to clean, plus it saves lube lol. I only noticed a bacteria/mold issue with like 1 or 2 toys ever since it’s usually 40-45% humidity and 72F in my room. Also, putting dry towels in your onahole storage can help reduce humidity I believe. Anything to absorb moisture from the container that they’re in can help.
Oh god lord. Do I understand correctly, that you lube the sleeve, use it and then put it to side to use it again later…without any cleaning before that? So really a reuse of the old lube?
I will answering here because maybe you are missunderstanding…
First my cleaning process of the sleeves all the time were really good (when i end up using them i went to the bathroom pour warm water then antibacterial soap, i use neutral soap to clean btw, then i wash my hands my balls and my pubes too because then started to feel really awfull if i leave it there then for the drying process all the time i cover the sleeves with microfiber towels, really thin fabric, always this with the sleeve turned out, all the “places were my dick touchs it” are covered and they i let it dry then in like 20 minutes i turn it as usual and dry the outter side).
The issue was i fucked a person without protection and my dick started to itch a lot then the itch started to be pain and now the “head” of my dick is like all the time really sensitive because some skin or i dont fucking know what is peeling it… I dont want to say what i have but maybe the symptoms are preety in the surface…
My concern was because im taking pills and need to wait like “10 days” to know if im cured or not i want to use condoms so i can “protect” my dick to anything that could be on the sleeves, if there is any, because the skin of my head i don’t know how much it is “damaged”…
Thats because my question was if i use condoms with lube on it the “TPE” material of the sleeves i have will be fine or not? Because i don’t want to damage it they have like 3 months of usage by the time im writing this and i prefer somes sleeves than other to think if i need to trow the ones i like to use the ones i dont like i will be really sad xD…
Oh…TPE sleeves are fine as long as you don’t use silicone lube as that’s what can cause damage, Silicone or latex objects touching TPE is fine meanwhile. (Hybrid lubes have been known to be safer bets to avoid damage if you really must use silicone lube)
So ye wash out all your sleeves to be safe and use a condom with an water based lube and sleeves should be fine and condom shouldn’t pop unless defective or pre-damaged. (I’ve used expired condoms and they’ve been fine with handy sleeves and they’ve stayed strong)
You’ve never had a good round with the handy, laid back for a second, passed out, woke up in the morning, and then had another round? Missin out…
As for the OP though. On the real though, that’s as far as I would take it. Infections aren’t anything to be messing with, especially an infection of your dick. Most of us only got one of those, and it aint gonna grow back if it falls off, or gets surgically cut off. And a condom isn’t gonna save you, “dick cheese” is the source of the bacteria and a condom is just going to help that get full coverage on your johnson. I’d at LEAST throw your toys in a jar/bucket/ziplock of isopropyl alcohol for a few hours - day, but if it’s already causing you problems chuck it in the fuck it bucket, and get a new one would be the best advice. I throw my fleshlight in a ziplock and pour a bottle of isopropyl, massage it through the bag, and then let it soak for the better part of a day about once a month. Then let it air dry, otherwise you get some intense sensations for a minute or 2 when you start using it.
From my experience, the handy sleeves can handle the silicone lube usualy found on condoms fine. More often the issue is a lack of lube in general. Adding some water based lube is almost always required here. But i definitely wouldnt recommend adding silicone lube, as that might end up being too much silicone.
And even then, the wear on the handy sleeves (like discoloration) happens over time anyway. Its not a bad idea to replace them occasionaly. Even just using water based lubes the sleeves after a few months are realy starting to become bad for me to such degree replacing them is a good idea.
Even if the silicone lube causes damage, it will usualy take weeks before the sleeve becomes bad if you just clean it after use. Sure, cleaning might not get rid of all the silicone, but it should be low enough and diluted enough to not be a problem any time soon. I have used the open ended sleeves with a condom by default. And while it wasnt a lot of use, those sleeves still look like new.
If buying a new sleeve isnt much of a problem, just go for using a condom, if the sleeve does become bad you replace it. But i suspect the sleeve is going to last a lot longer.
Its better to spend a bit more money and replace a new sleeve, than to damage your dick. So dont worry about potentialy destroying a sleeve (as long as its a cheap one).
For what @macgyver said i was thinking about something like that because i used those sleeves while i was “infected” with this “bacteria” so i was thinking how can i “Kill all of those bacterias” maybe in the sleeves right now (i dont know if the soap + water will do) but if with the isopropyl alcohol can do it maybe i will do…
Now… how much time should i leave the sleeves into it? Does the TPE will be damaged with a huge amount of time? Because im planing to put it a lot of time if needed (And the isopropyl alcohol comes in diferent graduations or its only one type of isopropyl? Because my mother is a chemist and i know about the different types of alcohols).
@Ratattack15 your comment made me feel secure and what i was looking into to know… I all the time use water based lubes and i don’t use silicone lubes (i have some anal type lube for fisting that its more dense than the water based but i still think its water based that one too).
@SomeoneRandom the Handy cant ship their sleeves to my country if those sleeves get damaged i need to wait to went to the US (or Europe) or buy some onaholes from Japan by AliExpress (i really hate my country, Argentina). So i am taking care really hard to made those sleeves last at least 1 year (they have right now 3 - 4 months of daily usage). But i don’t know when a sleeve goes bad at least they are not like “brand new” and the material is more “whitish” than “transparent” but because i use talcum to preserve them when i doesn’t use it then i think thats why those have that kind of color right now…
TPE is meant to be able to deal with Silicone lube from what I’ve been researching of as of recently with trying to look at a few silicone lubes and if they were safe. However there’s been a few cases/opinions online I’ve found that have said that their TPE sleeve or full on onahole has gotten damaged as a result of using silicone lube. (It apparently can happen with hard plastic materials and toys. It all mainly comes down to how the toy/material was made) Reddit Thread that’s a good example mix of opinions/thoughts.
With putting alcohol into your sleeves to clean them…I personally would feel that is overkill to do. I would just give them more than one wash and use fairy liquid and leave them to soak for at least 5-10 mins. Just make sure you cool the metal sink between washes as I run hot water from the tap, letting the cold sink make it not be too hot for too long.
But if a sleeve is already infested by bacteria and you want to try to see about saving it…I would then go with 30 seconds and rinse off as that’s what’s recommended when using hand sanitisers and such as the minimum. (our skin is able to heal and stand up to more than TPE material is I believe) Again though I would instead go for replacing the sleeve than take the risk if it’s not clear the sleeve is infected via discoloration or some growth that you can use to tell that what your doing is even effecting it all.
I use 91% isopropyl alcohol. It’s like $3 for a bottle at Walmart. I’ve left a sleeve, case, and lids in a ziplock bag of it for 12+ hours before with no issues. That said, I’m using a fleshlight and all they say about their material is it’s a “patent pending bla bla bla”. Worse case scenario is does start to dissolve it, in which case you have to get a new one.
That said, I also clean it between uses with a silicone bottle brush and dish soap. I’m not the most hygienic person in the world, but this is your dick we’re talkin about. Best case scenario is you get and infection and some penicillin takes it away. Worst cast is it causes real damage leaving you impotent or gangrenous and needing to be amputated. it’s a piece of rubber, chuck it, buy a new one, and take better care of this one.
I don’t have gangrena xDDD… And im not impotent either…
This infection that i get, i think i had it for about 8 to 10 months ago (i just went to the doctor a week ago because the pain was really unbearable and with anti fungal creams that never do the trick). And i’ve got my handy about 4 months ago and i use it every time without knowing i have this bactereas in my dick…
Now that i know and because if im fine i don’t want to be infected again because maybe those sleeves DESPITE I REALLY CLEAN IT A LOT (not with the alcohol) could be infected so i was trying to know if those were salvagable using your method of putting it into alcohol so all the bactereas were killed in the process or not…
If i need to buy new sleeves i think i will sell my handy and then went for an multiaxis autostrocker plus real onaholes than the slevees because the Handy can’t ship to my country and with that im screwed if i need to buy new ones xD.
If you have a fungal infection that doesnt go away, it might very likely be eczema. Its something that can commonly overlap. Eczema is quite harmless for the sleeve, but a stroker can be very damaging to your skin then. Even with a condom it can hurt (where a fungal infection once treated barely does). Thats how much eczema can damage your skin, which for fungal infections is obviously a great breeding spot.
There are some creams that do treat both at the same time, so i hope the doctor gave you one. A good eczema cream can already show a strong reaction within a week. If the doctor never mentioned it, it might be worth mentioning this to the doctor so they can actualy check if they havent missed this.
Also, once cured from such infection, your body can resist some of it. Its usualy illness or stress combined with being exposed to such fungus that it can infect you. As keep in mind how you could get infected to begin with. There is a high chance it came from your own body, meaning that afterward your body can actualy still resist becoming infected again.
To make it even more anoying, you most likely already infected the sleeve before you show any symptoms. There is no way you can tell whether you already infected the sleeve or not, and how infected it even is. Light infections are not a problem for your body, your skin most of the time already contains the same bateria/fungus on itself without you even noticing it.
However, a very strong infection will cause the sleeve to have a lot of residue inside it that you cannot see, but can infect you again. And at these high values, the risk to repeat the infection is high.
In most cases they therefor do recommend to replace the sleeve anyway, as that is the only guarantee to be safe you dont infect yourself again. But depending on how you got infected, that might not always be needed. As a simple flu can be enough to cause you to get such infection, which then only lasts for the duration the flu is active.
But as you describe severe symptoms, replacing after you are cured is best. So dont worry about destroying the sleeve from silicone lubes. It only needs to last until you are cured so you can use your new sleeve afterward. And during that curing time, just use a condom. You dont want risking to infect your new sleeve (and even if you do after you feel cured, you most likely wont infect yourself again).
If unsure, the best bet is to take the safest route, replacing a sleeve is therefor the best thing. And otherwise, only use the sleeve with a condom. A condom does enough to avoid infecting yourself again.
And most important: keep in mind that im not a doctor, but i had experience with a fungal infection combined with eczema before.
Instead of regular condoms, try a female condom. These are inserted in the vagina before sex and insert some lube. They feel much better than regular condoms because you do get the friction when fucking. Female condoms are much stronger than regular condoms, so you can clean them and reuse them.
Yes but it will be the same because right now im in a process of “healing” myself so despite im evolving preety well from this infection (yesterday i fapped with my bare hands then i do a proper cleaning followed by having a shower the next day (today) when i clean my dick it was not “loosing” skin anymore still the “ardour” im feeling it but it feel way more betten than some other days that i fapped with the infection…
So using a female condom for me its the same to get infected over and over again i need to use a condom and when im done then i just drop it.
About what @SomeoneRandom i will ask to my doctor about this but yeah this shit its preety awfull.
When you have a fungal infection, reusing a condom is a horrible idea. They are designed to protect for a VERY limited duration (once taking it off, you aren not supposed to use it again).
In this case its not just about avoiding pregnancy. Its about preventing you to infect yourself again, or at least slowing down the process of curing. Condoms are not designed so you can clean them, and while it might look clean, it usualy rarely is.
If healthy, it might work for several days, but thats because your immune system can handle most of what you are causing here. But even then, i definitely wouldnt recommend it. Condoms are just not designed for this. You might be better of buying a latex sleeve that was designed to be reusable instead (and yes, they exist)
Other than that, your friction argument is valid. A female condom provides a much better experience for the male. That much it an definitely be worth to try.
However! if you have eczema, dont. Friction is your enemy then.
