No, WIFI may experience lag, and compared to Bluetooth, it has no advantages except for the distance.
I’m so confused about the noise levels everyone else is reporting - Mine arrived recently, and its loud enough that I have to turn whatever I’m listening to up to an almost uncomfortable level of volume to drown out the noise (I only have up+down motion, not even twist). This is even on very slow settings (the slowest the automatic motion will go is still very loud). Is something likely to be wrong? I already tried the FUNSR1 1.0 and it was broken upon arrival (belt tension screw had snapped so it was extremely noisy and uneven in motion and made grinding sounds sometimes), so I was sent the new model and it’s still hits over 55dB of volume at about a metre away (according to google, about as loud as a normal conversation. At about 30cm away - so normal use - it reaches over 60dB) - at this point I can’t tell if I’m just really unlucky and the new one has issues too - it almost feels like I’m being gaslit on how it’s supposed to function. I’m currently working through bluetooth issues as well with renwoxing, but it’s very frustrating that I’ve had the same noise issue with both models (although at least the new model isn’t making grinding sounds).
Seems like a pretty common issue though. I mean, if you have a quest 3 you’re very likely to use your device in a room where you have no computer (e.g. your bedroom).
Thank you very much, I’ll come back to it!
Just recieved one of these and so far so good. Wondering about the mounting solution though. I bought the mounting kit to go with it and it mounts only to the top, should there be any concern with long term? Seems solid but theres a little flex in the device when hanging from the top mount
if anyone is interested, here is a video of the sr1 2.0, a handy sleeve, and I. This thing is no joke…just a little twist action really makes a huge difference over the handy. this may ruin my sex life forever lol.
I had a FUNSR1 1.0 (it broke eventually) but it was never super quiet. Maybe it low speeds, but once you get a good pace its pretty loud. However, it is way quieter than most OSR2+ servos. Depends what your expectations are.
I’ve looked into Multifunplayer which doesn’t run on a Mac, and XTPlayer which can, but doesn’t seem to work with XBVR or over bluetooth, so unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be a way to get the SR1 2.0 working for me.
Anyone else have a workaround?
@renwoxing I got my sr1 2.0 a couple days ago and I have been having multiple issues from not being able to connect to mfp or xtplayer properly. But now the device just turns off when playing a script, the green light goes black and the device refuses to turn back on. Even when not playing a script the device turns off and won’t move unless I unplug the power multiple times. I buttons of the device even stop working and the device turns off.
Update:
It was the power cable I received with the device it is faulty. I swapped it out with my sr1 cable and its works with no issues now.
Hey Brad1111, I want to thank you you created this adapter which I had to do some adjustment to make it work on SR6 Twist for Kiiroo FS.
You motivated me to learn 3D model (sketchup) and customized the model to make it work.
Here it is the result of this on Thingiverse page.
And I will mention you on there.

Thanks for that amazing work!
Actually tempestmax made the original adapter for his original sr6 (non funosr version)
I modified it to work with the funosr toys.
So really he deserves all the credit.
There are stutters and vibrations when playing a scenario in multiplayer with MPC over a Blouetooth connection.
Here is the video
I can’t find any SKU’s, but is would this be the correct bundle, having the Black SR1 + Twist + Stand. $248.93 +Shipping: $43.61 to U.S.?
After using it once, it stopped working.
The ACDC adapter flashes green and a ZAP sound is heard the moment I turn it on. Maybe it was shorted?
