For all the people celebrating this ban, don’t forget how quickly a moderation team can change, and when they decide that the content you like is too “difficult”.
Looking you furry/beast fans, you’re next. 2B getting fucked by a CG wolf is as much beastiality as loli is child porn.
This is the path that has always been, it has been repeated site after site. Soon they will also have to battle the legality of people uploading “stolen” content, which should be the real fight.
All issues can be resolved by having the site hosted on DMCA protected servers, and considering the amount of space and performance a site like this requires is quite low It’s really not that much more expensive.
Ok but on the topic of the rule itself. It’s extremely subjective what seems to be hit by the sweep or not. I’m seeing lots of posts being untagged that I KNOW would make Twitter antis seethe and call you a child predator for liking.
I mean, one of the most egregious example and longstanding debate is about Uzaki Chan. Miss titties herself. They say she look underage. Is she ok? She definitely has the body of a grown up. Whose judgement are we basing what is ok on?
All of the cast of Blue Archive (except a few exceptions) ARE underage but don’t look it (except a few exceptions again). Does it mean they are a no-go?
It’s extremely vague and my distaste for the decision itself aside, it won’t please anyone. Even the staff who will most likely have to painstakingly revew a ton of threads because posts that would be considered OK will still get flagged by overly zealous types, People won’t know if the video they scripted is fine until they make the thread, etc.
I guess credit card companies will be the only winners.
I rambled a bit but my main point (and question)
Other than Customudon and Nakk stuff, which is blatantly obviously out, how will we know if something passes?
And it gets even murkier with some JAV idols like Lala Kudo and Atomi Shuri…
Oh I know and it’s specifically why I chose one that is absolutely not for my first example. Both in body and canonical age (I want to clarify I don’t give a single shit about canonical ages of drawings)
Uzaki being a point of debate is mind boggling to me, but she is.
And then you got the blue archive girls. I think Eimi is 15.
THIS ONE
I believe this site is not based out of the US. I know that there are countries outside the US where animated loli porn is treated the same as regular child pornography.
The US doesn’t do that (currently afaik) because there is no victim, and the point of child pornography laws is to stop children being exploited by being forced to make porn.
luckily we have a cunnysuier mod lookin out for us so maybe it wont be that bad, so far ive already seen him remove the tag from some that are allowed to stay
But if it’s to appease “perceived pedophilia” and attract a bigger audience, there is still a ton of content that passes that will turn them away and still make them feel “ashamed” to post here.
Then it becomes strickly about legality.
I’m just wondering who decides and based on what exactly.
IIRC Hinata from naruto was 12 in first season, and 14 in ship, and both feature nude scenes of her lol.
Also Strike Witches… Fucking Strike Witches bro… Every girl except one I think is canonically underage, as in, it’s a major plot point. NONE of them wear pants, only panties or swimsuits (or nothing), and it shows everything. How that show made it to the west I will never know.
I respect falafal as much as any other user of this site. Unfortunately, now being a mod, this decision is on him too. I’ve decided to stop supporting him outright as a result.
We can all bitch and whine till the sun goes down, but the decision has been made and action is already being taken.
I have more issues with this sites moderation than I can count and I frankly see this as a good opportunity to take the content elsewhere.
Eroscripts currently has a monopoly on scripting and I’d like to see that change.
Frankly the only way you can truly protest this change in a way the mods will give a shit about is by stopping donating
Would it be safe to just use that generic message at the beginning of some videos like “All actors protrayed in the following are 18 years old or older” I’m pretty sure Kagura Games is an american company but they have some sus material on some games and they just change the terminology for them.
