Whenever I click ‘Open UI’ the webpage it opens says this

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to localhost:9999. SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length.

Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

You want to use HTTP instead of HTTPS (idk what happened here but my next reply deleted this one’s text)

it just changes the url back to https

You may have security or anti-virus software installed that’s “helpfully” doing that.

This, or a browser setting is preventing you from viewing the site. XBVR does not redirect to HTTPS, as it only works with HTTP.

I checked all my firefox settings and everything that would be doing that has been disabled for sometime, does windows defender do this or have a setting for it?

Looks like it might be a caching issue. You could try another browser, or alternatively try some of the solutions posted here (Specifically the one about clearing your cache and site settings [2nd answer])

i tried firefox chrome and edge and cleared my cache and site settings and it’s still happening, couldn’t find any solutions on google either

Been travelling a few days so sorry for the delay in response but you may want to try another browser if yours refuses to behave.

Alternatively - join the xbvr discord, folks there are super helpful.

I run XBVR on Raspberry PI

I have attached 4 TB Disk on Raspberry PI

This device too slow for XBVR? Do you recommend a AMD64 CPU?

I have never tried running on a Raspberry Pi, but it should be able to handle all the basic functions. From what I can see Arm/Arm64 are both supported - the one thing you may have some problem with is Preview Generation, that may take a long time and cause lag while it’s running, other than that it should be OK.

Also you may need to use MariaDB and not the default SQLite database if you’re running off the SD Card. SQLite can have some weird performance slowdowns, at least over network storage, so I imagine the same may be true off an SD card.

Does anyone know if there is a direct link for the XBVR API that I can bookmark on heresphere? Issue that I have is when I open Heresphere it takes me to the http version of XBVR, then I have to click on search API. This whole process takes 10-15 seconds

http://1.2.3.4:9999/heresphere will automatically open the gallery (API) view in HereSphere. Just replace your xbvr server’s IP address.

I love the potential of this software, and keen to use it.
Sadly it keeps on hanging or not responding after a few minutes of playing on Deovr on my quest 3. Streaming it from my iMac with a 140Mbps connection over WiFi, so don’t think its the connection.
Any ideas or suggestions?

how do you add the cover image there is not a url to the image?

I have it installed on my iMac and runs fine.
I can connect to my quest 3 via Deovr OK.
Unfortunately keep on loosing connection, so still trying to trouble shoot that part.
