Is the Handy for me?

Hi all!

Been going through a massive rabbit hole of toys, scripts, and how-tos.

Wanted to test out my script I made. So, I dusted off the Keon and attempted to use an Ona hole and a pocket pussy. Both times it did not go so well due to the Ona hole being too small and the pocket pussy being too heavy.

Was wondering how well the Handy handles? Is the vertical / motor quite strong? I am shaft heavy and hate stimulation on my head. So 95% of the time I am pushing a lot of toys more aggressively down to hit the shaft area since: I am on the small side of roughly 4 inches length and 3 inches girth.

I have had multi toys that just didn’t fit well due to a lot of sleeves being 4+ inches and it being too big/not tight.

I was also wondering if it would be compatible with the Ona holes that I have.

What are your recommendations? Suggestions? Tips? Techniques?

Looking to get more into scripting as it was quite fun to mess around with the program! I have done quite a few PMV’s and would love to slowly integrate scripts for the videos I mashed up!

Also don’t get me started with VR. Thats another rabbit hole I’m falling in with having my Quest 3 lol.

It sure is one big rabbit hole.
I have no experience with the Keon, but I do like my Handy. Awhile back I asked about sleeve alternative for my Handy, and someone responded with sleeves under 400g don’t cause the Handy to slow down.
Hopefully this helps
Recommendations For Closed Ended Sleeves? - General - EroScripts

Maybe an open ended sleeve that wont stimulate the head?

If you’re shaft heavy that depends on the script, scriptplayer and the sleeve. In script player you can limit the range of the funscript entirely to just the range you want. As for the sleeve you’re probably looking for the fleshlight quickshots or any other open ended sleeves.

Keon for the most part is best used with the Kiiroo and Fleshlight sleeves since they were designed with the hardcase in mind.

The Handy is one of the cheapest and accessible options common to the community and that’s sorta why its the daily driver for most people. However using it out of the box is slightly awkward for how you have to hold it so most people have to buy or juryrig a handsfree setup which adds into the cost. One of the benefits of the keon was it being comfortable to hold while in use, the handy is not this.

The handy will work with onaholes and open sleeves its a strap system. As long as you can get the straps around the sleeve to hold it, it works for the most part. The pocket pussy might be a problem because too much weight will end up with reduced function.

If you want something towards the lower end of the price spectrum, handy will probably be just fine.

If you want to get a bit fancier there’s the FUNSR with a twist that adds the twist axis. The twist axis would probably be a good idea since it would make the sleeves spin around the shaft area. I don’t own one personally but from what I understand you can buy it with an adapter for onaholes or strap just the quickshot sleeve(without the case, if you want a hardshell case youd need a diff adapter).

Step above that would be OSR2+ with 2 extra axises that can tilt(twist not automatically included with all versions) and then SR6 which is the top end of devices that the community commonly uses with 6 degrees of motion. These two are more expensive than the single axis strokers, but the extra axises do add a lot. You can buy adapters for quickshots or onaholes/other non-case sleeves.

That is actually good to hear! Most of the Onaholes I have are actually half or even less than that. The link was quite useful. Read that the other gentlemen added some sort of piercing. I’ve never experience a BJ with piercings before so that would be pretty unique and cool to try out one day!

Thanks for the detailed comment!

I’m 100% messing with Script Player for the optimal range for myself.

You are totally right on the benefit of the keon on comfortability. I can somewhat just have it lay on top of everything and either hold it on the side or the back as if you’re holding someone’s head/hair.

My issue with just testing around with my Keon was that it doesn’t seem to respond well to rapid lengthy movements. Maybe it is just me and I still need to test more of how to actually get the length and speed correctly.

I’m thinking of just keeping the Keon and getting a new sleeve. From your experience and knowing my circumstance what would you recommend if I went this route?

Honestly if you wanted to use the open ended sleeves, onaholes or pocketpussies, your best bet would just be to buy a new device. But if you don’t want to spend a bunch of money on an entirely new device you can make the Keon work.

The keon just can’t do those rapid movements as well as the handy or other devices can. In terms of range/responsiveness its the weakest out of the commonly used devices, so if you ever want to use a script it can’t be too detailed, which is why lots of scripters have smooth/simplified versions of their scripts. Rapid movements and scripts with a BUNCH of points to where a simple arc of an up and down stroke has like 5+ points, is not something the keon can handle. Worst case scenario you take the script, plug it into Open Fun Scripter and select all points and run it through the simplifier.

For script selection you probably want scripts that hit the bottom out more and get full strokes since you don’t like stimulation at the top. Unfortunately w/o an open ended sleeve you can’t just get shaft stimulation afaik.

Anyways despite it being one of the worst in terms of accuracy/speed I do enjoy the keon cause its very ergonomic compared to the other devices used by the community. Its easy to hold or easy to prop against you and a table for more handsfree. Its sturdy and feels like a commercial product. Holding the handy is awkward and using it wrong has a possibility of getting something pinched in the gap.

And its mostly compatible with all fleshlight products(if you have the hardcase that comes with the Keon)(my daily driver is the go surge). The included sleeve that comes with the Keon is pretty bad, tho from my understanding the other ones they sell are good(look up feelstars on this site or google reviews for them).

The one thing I usually recommend for people that have the keon of use fleshlights is the suction control cap. Basically air flow is controlled by a dial so if you shut it all the way, it cant suck in air but itll push it out.

If you know what textures you like or just want a look at the innards of things there’s this. You can basically look up the different fl products and if you click on them there’s a ruler so you can judge what mileage you get out of sleeves. There’s also the advisor that can suggest sleeves based on what you’re looking for and your length.

Other good tip, due to the design of the keon you can turn on the device, sync it up and then before you start the video, make sure you are inserted and the case is at the absolute bottom of the stroke. Because of that ring you can make sure you’re at the absolute bottom and adjust. Scriptplayer has settings on the side.

Use these to home in on your preferred settings/range. The range settings will change that green chart so you can visually see what you’re doing. There are also presets with the M above the chart being middle.

TLDR: Keon will never be as accurate as the Handy or other offerings on the market, but if you don’t want to spend money on a new device you can improve your mileage with the Keon by purchasing some accessories/sleeves from Kiiroo or Fleshlight and dialing in on the settings in Scriptplayer.

I dont have an in dept review, but i have tried the Keon and The Handy. The Handy is better in my opinion.

You have missed THE stroker - OSR2+/SR6
It has multi-axis , which places it into a different league
It is so powerful that even the weaker 25kg servo version (~$200) can easily handle 800g sleeve (that’s loud weaker OSR2+, best is 45kg quiet for $380)

Check my The Definite Poll [2025] [new users read results] - Devices, Sleeves, Apps, everything poll on what people use btw

From my experience the Handy lifts about 350 gram. Above that it has reduced speed.

And yes do check out T-code devices if you want to use a variety of onaholes: [Guide] What Is the OSR2 / SR6 / SSR1 and How Do I Get One?

Try MultiFunPlayer btw
For single axis its okay, for multi-axis its a must

Lamp,

Amazing comments as always! I’m blown away with the knowledge that you have provided me!

I’m on the edge with the Handy for sure. Though after messing with the scripts and reading your comment. I do really enjoy the Keon. I felt as if I could really push it down and hold it as if I was getting a bj. That constant pressure is nice.

I have another cheap toy I can’t recall where I bought it. Though it is an open ended sleeve and is shaped like a T. Where you hold it side ways and it thrust up and down.

It has been my typical go too when I have a decent long session. Most nights my hand does the job well. I think having the Handy would kind of defeat the quick access/setup as well.

Since I just dusted off the Keon. I forgot what the settings were but after messing with it. I think having it at the second tier length (from just messing around I think the lowest length was a bit too small) with maximum speed is actually quite fast.

The issue I had when messing with my made script was that the Keon would jitter/stutter almost like it was lagging behind of some sort.

So your tip might help on honing down the actual speed of it. Cause I know without the scripts, it is actually fast for me.

I’m not on my computer but I’m excited to see what I can fix after reading your comment.

Like if you’re buying for the first time or looking for something more accurate at a budget: Handy
If you’re looking to upgrade and don’t mind spending a bit more: FUNSR, OSR2, SR6

The problem with just telling you to buy the Handy or a t-code device is that you already own a Keon. So either its gonna collect dust or youre gonna sell it. So I figured I should give advice on trying to mitigate that/save money.

Also if you are gonna buy fleshlights, you will probably need this. Its a lipcap that’ll prevent the fleshlight sleeves from rubbing on the inside of the keon. Kiiroo used to sell one but I dont think they do anymore. You can 3d print it yourself, ask around the community or find a local shop that’ll do it. Its a small piece so it shouldn’t be too expensive I think I got mine for about 8 bucks.

Like unfortunately if you want to get the most mileage out of the Keon you’ll want the lipcap and an actual fleshlight sleeve or one of the kiiroo feelstar sleeves(anything but the most basic one that comes with the Keon). But honestly for most of these devices you will 100% require more than just the device.

The handy is cheap, but then you have to include the price of all of mods you need for handsfree cause afaik most people don’t just buy their handsfree solution cause its kinda bad.

If you want to use the smaller onahole/sleeve, theoretically if you just hold it in place by wrapping it with a towel to get it to fit so it wont fall all the way in, you can get it to work that way. Also with the endcap off, you can fit the quickshot case into the hole of the keon sleeve case. Its awkward and juts out but if you limit the top stroke and are pushed against it you can technically use it that way I guess.

RE:The Jitter
From what little I understand the jitter/stutter and other limitations of the script is due to the Keon(on top of the hardware moving the sleeve) being solely bluetooth reliant. There was a post about bluetooth vs wifi a while back. The op has visuals explaining what you sort of have to do for bluetooth viable scripts. Tldr on bluetooth, the device will skip actions that are too close together.

The handy has bluetooth and wifi but most people use wifi to just load scripts to the device itself(that has its own problems and jank since it relies on servers), so combined with the hardware its an accurate but cheap device. The T-code devices people mostly use with a hard wire connection so there’s 0 issues with accuracy but it is using a wire.

I think you have honestly helped the best by far. Everyone else’s input was also a great solid foundation.

I think the reason why the Keon was tossed in the back was due to that rubbing inside you are talking about. I kept having to clean/remove the plastic due to friction and it was damaging the sleeve. It was more of a hassle to do the work than to have fun honestly.

I’m glad you linked the post about wifi vs bluetooth as well. I have been doing bluetooth for the Keon so I guess that is a plus. Along with my editing style I typically just have “triangles” rather than those waves (IE. multiple points).

I think my issue overall was maybe having to high of a spike to fast. I must get some time to try and work out the kinks!

The permanent option is either getting this(apparently theyre stocking it again), getting a 3d print of the lipcap i linked before, or the temporary solution of surrounding the sleeve with a paper towel.

I think getting that one would probably be best for me. The one I currently have seemed to be a few years old now and is a bit dirty here and there. I had to whip out the ol Skyler and boy did she collect some dust and hair…
