This is a TyranoScript mod that utilizes the EDI program to support a wide range of interactive devices.
The mod includes a version with a complete English translation for dialogue & images! (credit goes to Nakkub)
Tested on the Handy FW4
There’s a loli version of the game. I couldn’t find any source for it, so thanks @resel95074 for providing a copy. This version is now also compatible with the mod.
How to use
Step 0. Get the game from DLsite or some other source:
Step 1. Download and extract your preferred Mod version (English/default for Main or Loli version of the game) into the game’s main directory (the file “Aruraune.tpatch ” should be next to the .exe)
Step 3. Open the game.
On first startup it takes a moment to apply the patch and will show a pop-up once done. Important: Make sure there are no special characters in the game’s directory path for the patch to apply successfully (otherwise the game’s resource data will turn into 1kb).
(Optional Step)
You can offset the script playback by adjusting the “SyncOffset” value in the “EdiConfig.json”.
The current default value is 350ms, but you might want to adjust it depending on your network and device. It can also be reduced down to 10 if not needed (a value of 0 will not work).
Changes here require a game restart to take effect (this is a mod-specific value and is not natively included in the EDI config, so keep that in mind when manually updating the EDI program in the future).
Step 4. Launch “Edi.exe” and connect your device(s). You can connect the Handy directly over Wi-Fi via the key, or also use the Intiface Bluetooth connection for it, as well as other devices.

There’s an alternate loli version of the game but I’m not sure if it’s compatible with the mod/scripts. I think it was a bonus as part of some other purchase. Might not be available on the site anymore so I’ll upload it here in case anyone wants it.

I did a quick file comparison between the two versions, and they’re mostly identical.
The main differences are in some media files and dialogue, meaning the interception logic remains unchanged.
However, the translation patch will require some adjustments to work.
The beat is also mostly the same, but there are some timing differences, so the scripts will need to be adapted too.
I might make an alternative mod variant that fully supports this version as well.
Does it work before applying the patch and where did you get your game from?
Did you make sure there are no special characters in the game’s folder name?
bought it from dlsite, it works before patch but after patching to english all the videos no longer work. The patch said it worked and I have no special characters in folder name.

To make the patcher succeed: temporarily move the game folder to the root of the disk and rename it to a single word.
Looks like some version of the game uses a different name for the black/white background images.
I’ve updated the mod to use a universal name, which should work with all versions.
Vanilla game worked, but when the tpatch file was there, the game just hung on a black screen when trying to start it up. It didn’t even start the process of trying to apply the patch.
If you’re having problems like this, then you can manually apply the patch to fix it.
To manually apply the patch, first, you need to extract the app.asar file.
Go into the Resources folder, and use a program, such as Bandizip (I find 7zip unable to open asar files), to extract it’s contents. Now create a folder named “app” and place all the extracted files in there.
Now rename/delete app.asar. (I just rename it to “app.asar1”, and that’s enough to keep the game from trying to load it)
Attempt to start up the game to test if it’s working without the asar file; if it is, then it’s time to apply the patch.
Rename Aruraune.tpatch to Aruraune.zip.
Use your preferred archival program (winzip, 7zip, bandizip, etc.) to extract the contents of Aruraune.zip, and place them in the app folder, overwriting files as needed.
And that’s it, mod installed (you still need the rest of the integration mod files in the game’s root folder, this just manually installs the .tpatch file). Start the game up to test that the mod’s working.
can someone point me in the right direction. I have been trying to purchase from Dlsite and haven’t been able to. I cant even buy the book points. My card keeps getting declined. Even tried apple pay, google pay and shop.
Mod Update:
Added a variant compatible with the loli version of the game, with adjusted translations and scripts. Also roughly translated the “Chapter Select” screen and updated to the latest EDI while at it.
Something in the data/scenario folder from the tpatch is stopping the prologue video from playing in the loli version. it just stays on a black screen for the whole scene. haven’t checked every scene, but all the other scenes I have tested have worked fine, it’s just the prologue one not working.
