That sucks. Any elaboration on why it happened? I am thinking of starting to use Pixeldrain.
People who hates loli/shota (maybe even furry?) contents have been reporting a lot of anime/hentai scripters recently. I also got banned from Mega about 2 months ago due to this. Thankfully, Pixeldrain doesn’t ban you for those contents, they will just delete that individual file so you can re-upload it.

I thought about hosting a cloud for this community, but im unsure if it is wanted because i’d have full access to all the data. Dunno if ppl are interested in it. Wouldn’t be unlimited storage, but unlimited traffic and no cost to it and the links would stay up “forever”.
Some people who don’t like loli / furry reported the link to MEGA. MEGA bans the uploader per their content policies.
Having what Pixeldrain used to be of where can upload whatever and not fear it going to go down a few weeks or a year or two later (because it’s copyright porn) would be great. Especially while having an data limit per upload be more than 2GB since my go to hosting sites are currently just pixeldrain and workupload. (has the 2gb data limit per upload)
Problem that may come from doing it, apart from having access to all the data, is probably going to be similar to what pixeldrain has been dealing with. Of where counties and such started blocking the site due to being care free about not moderating it’s hosted data. Or at least that’s what I believe occurred to result in it’s current system of account banning from IP banning after no banning.
Maybe something you can do to avoid this country blocking possible thing is have it so the site is only accessible via having an erosripts account? (So then anyone not on eroscript finds out about the site less too)
Sucks to hear it man, but I am glad more people are making these posts. Mega has killed the accounts of a lot of scripters here, and should not be used.
Maybe, possibly, mega is okay with you sharing a PDF of your grandma’s cookie recipe, but I would not trust them not to ban you for it because someone saw the text “Whip until stiff” in the recipe and reported it as bondage/rape content.
Do not use Mega.

Why not just use a decentralized system like BitTorrent, Swarm, IPFS, or Freenet? That way, it’s impossible to ever take down, and the downloads stay available for as long as a single person cares about them, and there are never any download file size limits.

In addition to Mega, Patreon seems to have issued similar rules.
Some time ago, my Patreon asked me to upload my personal information and reminded me that I must prove that the characters in all the content I posted are adults (over 18 years old) when necessary. So when I selected videos, I avoided loli and even legal loli (women who look like loli but are actually adults).
It seems that we need to find a better way to deal with this kind of content.
I was going to say ipfs. Or some other destributed FS. It cant really be bittorrent cause its not something we can easily “upload to” and then link. Plus if we used BT then any content can be linked to ip addresses from anyone using the public tracker, and the only way to get around that is to make a private tracker. And thats not easy either.

IPFS has the exact same privacy issues as BitTorrent - the organization behind it hosting free-to-use gateways does not change the core architecture. It’s also not something you can “upload to”; only Swarm or Freenet do that, and only Freenet has a privacy focus.
Ah. Good to know. I havent done too much research on ipfs.
